Hi there,
My friend’s battle.net account was banned for possible compromise, he cannot log into his account to write a ticket. Instead, he has to write a web ticket by verifying himself with an account id and photo id. After sent out the ticket, there is no email regarding to whether the ticket is being processed. So we are not sure if the ticket has been sent or not (it said ticket submitted successfully with an issue number), it is impossible to view the status of the ticket without log into a battle.net account, could you please provide any option on viewing the ticket status without logging in.
Of the first ticket he sends, he did get a response that said he has logged onto his character and the issue is solved, however, he did not, what he did was trying to do was unlocking the account (the battle.net account is still ‘banned’ even if it is unlocked).
Can someone help me pls!
Your friend or you, Halasho? You seem to have replied to your own post. Are you your friend?
if youre not the OP or the OPs friend affected, kindly make your own thread.
Sorry to hear your friend was potentially hacked OP, unfortunately no gms exist on this forum board, nor do the SFA blues here forward info to such GMs. Only thing your friend can do is wait out the ticket, while theyre cleaning out their pc.
its possible that whoever potentially hacked your friends account got them banned for AH exploitation or chat spam of some sort. So your friend needs to open an appeal ticket once they get their account back or if they do. Gms cant make guarantees on appeals but they can get your friend their account back if its actually theirs.
Yes he is sitting next to me and viewing the post. because he cannot log into his battle.net account.(it still banned) Even the GM said it is unlocked.
the ticket id is 80654922, could you please review the ticket and provide further solution. thank you very much
It seems like the issue was occur due to frequently changing ip (we using hotspot and swaping around between home cable and hotspot), there were some ppl have their account banned because of this.
ah in that case then its possible the systems on blizzards end deemed it strange and or locked his account on him because of not having a consistent IP that is the same for it to base a secured location off of
I’m afraid there isn’t anything we can do through the forums, Halasho.
You’ll want to open a new ticket to let them know that the account may have been compromised and that you cannot access it.
I have sent a ticket in-game for him on my wow account, the status is opened and the average wait time is 3 days
Tickets id: US80655221
We will not be able to assist him through your account, Halasho. He needs to submit a ticket as they did before.
also you may want to try this link too Halasho: https://us.battle.net/support/en/verify/anon/email?stateRef=/support/en/help/product/battlenet/316/973/channels
Your friend can also make a new battle.net account under a different e-mail address and submit their ticket through that account. They just need to make sure it’s in their own name so that it matches the compromised account.
We have notify the GM of such issues, but after the first tickets, there are no confirmation email of whether the tickets is being processed or not. Now we can’t send any ticket.
Our biggest concern is that we cannot reply to the ticket telling the GM the issue is not solved.
it seems like he cannot sent anymore ticket, he did not receive any confirmation email for the ticket he sent before.
Did they not receive a ticket ID? If the ticket was successfully entered they should have received a ticket ID on the last page.
he use another account to send ticket, and the average wait time is 4 days.
he has the id but no confirmation email, not sure if the ticket is submmited or not
What’s the ticket ID?
Something that your friend should do immediately, is make sure that their email account isn’t also hacked. If they have the option to do so, they should protect it with an authenticator or two-factor authentication.
It’s possible their email is also hacked and the emails are being deleted/redirected.
Then see my advice above about having your friend make a new battle.net account solely for the purpose of submitting the tickets to recover their account.
That would be the oldest ticket in queue and not necessarily the time for his ticket. If he’s got one submitted through a new battle.net, then he shouldn’t have to worry about tracking it
he tried but GM didnt solved the issue, they think they did and sent a email on that but the account is still being banned, the problem is he cannot reply to the ticket and let the GM know
