I made a mistake, and transferred money from my bank account to my Battle.net balance in order to pay for my subscription renewal next week, but it cannot be used for that, and I cannot find any possible way to transfer it back to my bank account. I am confused why this is so, and if it is so, then what good is the Battle.net balance at all if you cannot use it for anything, and there is no way to cash it back out??
You can buy game time from the store itself. Balance was never meant to be used as a mean to fund a renewing sub.

Thanks, and yes, I found that article, but not until after I had already boneheaded and transferred the funds over…
I put in a Ticket over it, and they agreed to give me a one time refund to the payment source, which has been completed, so problem solved, but I am still a little confused why you cannot transfer the balance yourself, without having to go through the Ticket process. In any case, thanks for taking the time to respond, and post a link to help!!

The only 30-days of time is via a monthly subscription.

There is via Battlenet Tokens you can buy in game for gold, or through a re-occuring subscription.
Bnet balance has never been available for use on a Sub. Just for game time blocks. The game A few years ago they also removed the single month, 3 month, and 6 month game time blocks. They only offer 2 months now.
Those changes were made in March of 2021.
