Cannot Transfer due to COD'd Mail

My whole guild split and transferred to another server; however before some transferred they COD’d mail for 10,000 gold and then transferred or deleted the character to keep certain players unable to transfer due to ‘having mail’

Of course if you accept the COD you are out 10,000g to a nonexistent player or you need to wait the 3 days. But the guild is already gone and the players that are doing this plan to keep certain people from transferring off and will do it again. (so far I have three CODs in my mailbox)

Is there a way to fix this or clear the mail? Crazy what people will do when you dont pick their side of the arguments

Did you place the ticket under the problem with purchase issue? Ticket times are a bit longer than usual right now, but I guess I don’t understand what you mean when you state you have not had a resolution to your ticket.

Of course ticket times are a bit longer than usual right now, but they do answer tickets as quickly as possible.

I cant even purchase the transfer because of the COD’d mail. I put the ticket in and just got automated responses

Not all responses are automated, except in some small self help situations, such as stuck character, or refund.

Some responses are templates used by CS as templates for common issues.

Being a fellow player, I don’t know the path you used to place those tickets, nor the response you received. Which is why I recommend placing one under purchase failure, the link I provided.

I tossed a new ticket in under purchase failure now as well. It was definitely an automated response seeing as it said that.

Kind of frustrating though that someone can COD then delete a character and it prevents a character transfer

It is a templated response, as it does help to cull out a lot of tickets that are out of the hands of GMs. If you read through them, you would have seen towards the bottom this big button that says something to the fact of “I still have a problem.” If you hit that and reopen your ticket if/when you get this one responded to, it will go into a higher queue and a GM will respond. It takes a bit of patience, especially as ticket times are a bit higher than usual right now.

Looks like this got sorted.
