I have several characters at or above lvl 70 and my Iskaara rep is at 24. I do not remember ever doing the quest line and none of my hunters can tame ottuks. I have searched for the quest starter but from what I’ve read he is supposed to run up to my character. I can’t see my completed quests so I can’t track down if I was halfway through it on a character or not. Just need to be pointed in the right direction or should I open a ticket?
I don’t think a ticket would help much.

Otherwise, if still can’t pick it up, then I think the next option would be the bug report forums.

Thank you for the suggestion. I did go there but, no quests at all. getting a bit frustrated with this honestly as even a new lvl 70 in Dragon Isles should get this quest. If I did it, then I should be able to tame ottuks but I can’t so I must not have done it yet.
Are you trying to tame the right Ottuks? I know when my first character got it I was confused because I couldn’t train Ottuks, then I realized that there is a certain type listed as being tameable. The normal Ottuks (and I believe it includes the ones around the quest hub where you do the quest)
are NOT tameable.

Do you have trivial quests turned on? For level 70 those should be visible by default but never hurts.
It looks like you need to do a whole quest chain in order to unlock the Ottuk tame. The quest chain starts here:

yes, trivial and warband and warband done. Murik has no quests for me except the intro to Iskaara. I’ve tried on four lvl 70’s at thiis point and none have triggered the quest.
It’s possible you might need to at least start the zone quests first.
On the article I linked, it shows the entire quest chain. Ok each page it will have a script to run to see if you’ve done that quest, false for no and true for yes. It might be a bit tedious, but you can copy those scripts and run them in game (via the chat box) on each character you think may have done any quests to see where you left off.
Edit: you mentioned that Murik has no quests, but the quest chain starts with Rowie. Rowie’s location is listed in the WoWhead article, just double check that you are going to the right npcs.

Try visiting Valdrakken, Valinna, and go to the area with the renown NPCs that provide the lead in quests.
Rowie should have “A Lost Tribe”.
