Because this thread is from a month ago and the issue causing problems at that time no longer exists. If you have a current issue with it, have you tried posting in Technical Support?

I am currently in the research phase and seeing no solutions only “read only” forum posts that the mods have shut down with no reasonable effort to answer.

case in point my response being immediately flagged with threat of silence.

At present, posts older than approximately 10 months are read-only.

I suspect your bump was flagged because it didn’t add anything constructive, in addition to being a thread necro.

We try to avoid digging old threads out from history in this subforum unless we know the information is still accurate, as information and context can rapidly change.

Read-only forums posts are from the old forums. When Blizzard changed to the new forum setup, only some of the old forum threads were converted.

Blizzard is under no obligation to answer anything posted on the forums. Any answer given is likely the only answer they are able to or allowed to give.

Since the post, the support system underwent some changes. So links in the past may no longer work.

Unfortunately that means I don’t know if this will work for you either

The Facebook Streaming feature in the Blizzard Battle.net Desktop App was retired with Patch 1.15.4 on October 3, 2019. For more information, you can find the patch notes in the app by clicking on the Blizzard logo in the upper left hand corner of the app and choosing What’s New in the dropdown menu.

To be more clear, the link does not work because the article was retired and removed from our support site. This was done because -

So, yes - this is the risk when responding to an old post instead of creating your own. Things can change, so the information in an old topic may no longer be the most accurate in regards to the issue you’re experiencing. Apologies if this caused any confusion.

iM really mad they removed this feature whats the point of bringing a thing in and then removing it like 2 years later seems like a trend with blizzard!

Feedback would belong in General Discussion. The Devs don’t take feedback from the Customer Support forum and the SFAs here are not liaisons with them. Customer Support does not make those Decisions.

agree. guess because we are not all super streamers making money off of it.

edit.

So, basically, the same thing that practically every developer runs into when working with something as broad in scope as this.
