Have googled for a long time now, seems to be a bug with me formerly being a timerunning toon I think. I did the legion intro quest, but no one shows up to bring me to the class hall.
I never chose a demon hunter to follow, which i think is part of the issue, so if a GM is able to fix this quest, I’d much rather choose to follow Altruis 
You would have to open a stuck on quest ticket no gms here.
I can’t open a ticket, just tried… lol… freaking keeps telling me to go to wowhead…
Have u checked the warboard for the legion returns or the sw docks or org docks for the. Lwgion retuns and make sure u have low level tracking enabled when u go to dalaran.
mmm, “in the blink of an eye” is the quest that like, gets you to dalaran and gives you the hearthstone and everything. since it’s slightly different for dhs

I’d recommend completing the Harbinger quest line, Hellhart. It looks like you started but abandoned the quest. You may need to complete the quest line in order to revert the area back to the proper phase.
If it doesn’t, just let me know here and I’ll take a look tomorrow when I get in.

completed the harbinger questline, got the achievement, left the zone and came back, still no guy to start the class hall questline 
i looked up the quest “the invasion begins” and it’s flagged as uncompleted, it’s gotta be something to do with that… if i could somehow go back and do the DH starting quests, i would. i just really hope if you do have to manually do it, you can maybe mark which story choice i want too, lol.
This is why, when I hit the level cap for an older expansion, I go through and do all the intro unlock quests for everything. It doesn’t take that long, and that way my toon is never stuck in any weird phases.
Not necessarily. The character is flagged with Illidari, We Are Leaving, which is the last quest that takes you out of the starting area. I tried a few things, including just starting the quest, but the NPC you need is still phased.
I sent up the info to see if someone with more insight into those quests can either submit a bug report or give me an idea of what might need to be done.
damn, alright. that’s super unfortunate, i was going to start maining this toon hard, which meant no-lifing all the class specific stuff i could. is there anything else i should do, or just wait?
i’ll try seeing if there’s anything else i can do in dalaran to maybe change the phase…
There’s a few quests around Dalaran, but I don’t know if any of them impact phasing. The biggest problem I see is that even if you were in phase the NPC that gives that first quest isn’t showing up nor is the turn in NPC or anything else. If you remain out of phase, even if I give you the starting quest, you can’t progress.
For right now, if you want to do other quests feel free. You did start Hand of Fate, which does have phasing issues but it is mostly for the main city. So I don’t think it that necessary to do that one, but you shouldn’t hurt anything by doing more, as long as you complete the quest intro.
i can do the rest of the class hall stuff on my other demon hunter if this is unfixable… but is it possible for the “slayer” title to just be unlocked on hellhart-moonguard? i have the title on the other DH, hellhart-malganis, and the mount, and all that, like, i really just want the title on this toon, lol…
No, we wouldn’t be able to do that.
You’re Demon Hunter should be able to start the Class Hall quests now though.
