My previous phone that I had my authenticator on is 100% dead, and I had to buy a new one.
However, whenever I try to use the “Remove My Authenticator” option, I get a screen that reads “Too Many Attempts”, even on the first attempt.
Clicking the “Contact Battle.net Support” link just brings me back to the previous page to select the issue.
I still have the Restore Code for the authenticator but there’s no option to input it anywhere.
I believe that particular setting/option is in your account itself. Otherwise, you’re going to want to submit an account ticket I believe, and wait for a response. This will likely take several days, so you will have to be patient.
I should’ve done a bit more searching. Found the support page, got it removed automatically through SMS verification.
For anyone reading this in the future, do not use the links on the account login page to do this, they don’t lead you anywhere. Search for the support article.
