Cannot re-accept Quest: A dull flat elven blade. (Warrior Sword Quest)

So I did this quest originally, on the Anniversary Server.

I accidently used the blade outside of Onyxia’s room checking to see it needed to be aimed or not. Couldn’t do anything about it or pick it back up.

I dropped the quest went back to the quest giver to repickup the quest so I could get the item back, as there was no dialogue to get it back.

It gave me the quest item back, but it wants me to “Accept” the quest to continue, and I am unable to accept the quest because I have “Completed” the quest.

I have no in-game way to try to figure out how to fix this issue, I cannot get anywhere with the in-game ticketing system. I have now killed Onyxia twice while having turned in the book and gotten the blade.

Can someone please assist me in regards to this? I spent a fair bit of gold for the book and getting stonewalled by a mistake feels awful.

Open a stuck on quest ticket.

Your only recourse at present may be just to file a bug report.

A reddit post from four years ago seems to indicate they were able to get the quest back in the same scenario, just in a different location in-game.

Apologies, but where do I submit a stuck on quest ticket? The in game help system seems to want to allow me to do ANYTHING but open a ticket, even if the thing I am looking for isn’t on the knowledge base.

Edit: Ah, I found it, it was in a completely seperate sub-section of the ingame assistance guide, literally named the exact same thing I’ve been struggling with for ages, but for some reason this version of the in game thing actually let me select that I was stuck on a quest instead of just telling me to try to WoW-head it.
