So, sometimes in dungens and areas when I open the map my game freezes. This has been happening alot since remix. Now, when I open the map to look at any quest - I freeze and then DC. It doesn’t matter what I do. It’s annoying.
Try a proper UI reset, by deleting or renaming the following folders: WTF, cache, and interface.

I’ve done that and it doesn’t do anything, sorry. Rather, I did it and I still have the exact same problem. No addons, ect.
Try a scan and repair, and restart your machine.

Does this happen on only one character or many different characters?
This is at least the fifth thread I’ve seen with this issue, the first being posted over a month ago (Error CpuResolveQueries Map Failure).
For me it happens sporadically when a rare appears and an add-on announces it, when I mount, when I try to open the map, when I am in combat… it’s maybe rendering issue, and nothing I’ve read has solved it yet for me.
You can try disabling add-ons, lowering graphics settings, disabling the bottom five settings in the graphics section, and not using the map. Good luck.
