I started a Pandaren Monk, chose the horde faction, and I have several mounts showing an error of “You are not the right faction for this mount”…and they are horde or non-faction mounts. Some of them are:
Armored Red Dragonhawk
Traveler’s Tundra Mammoth
Armored Brown Bear
Some of these are specifically listed as horde mounts, but I am still not able to use them.
Have you finished the starting zone?
I thot the only useable mount on the isle was the chaufer bike.

Have you fully logged out - even the launcher, and back in?
I’m betting this is some sort of update issue.
It would not allow me to use the Chauffeur Bike in the starting panda zone due to not selecting a faction yet.
I have yet to re-log, I will do that and see if that fixes it…even though it would remain an issue
That doesnt sound right i thot thats what the mount was for.
More info: I have yet to see this on any of my characters in my history, and I have leveled in total several to 70 to date, with many being from starting zones, etc.
Unless they’re Pandaren, it wouldn’t really be an issue. Since it is the only race where you must eventually choose Horde or Alliance? The ones who naturally begin that way should never have that issue arise.
I agree, but I have leveled Pandaren before as well without seeing this. I’m leaning towards what the customer support rep stated, being it a possible issue after the update. I’ll post the status once I re-log
Logging out, closing the game and the battle.net app reset to where I can now use those mounts. Thank you all for the input.
The reason why the bike can’t be used (chauffer bike) in the pandaren starting zone is because there is no faction yet and those bikes, depending on your faction will show either a human driver or an orc driver depending on faction. Pandaren are unique in that they choose their factions right before they leave that zone so that is why the bike doesn’t work on the panda start zone.
I think the Sea Turtle is the only mount available at level 1 other than the bike. It’s not faction-specific.
You are correct the turtle does work even though its slow lol
The only fast tutle ive seen is the ninja turtles especialy when the pizzas here. 
It’s still faster than walking. And very immersive in the Pandaren starting area.
