I have been trying to log into the game, Wrath CLassic, and I keep getting disconnected. Is there a problem? No I refuse to go to Twitter.
I have logged out of battlenet, back in and still cannot connect into the game. Any suggestion?

Seems laggy at the moment. Might be a DDOS attack?
Some bogus error for the problem they are having right now.
Same here. downdetector.com shows a spike in WoW issues reported since 4:00 PM EDT (20:00 UT).
For what it’s worth, I’m referring to The Forgotten Coast (NA), and get the WoW error WOW51900118.
Same issue here…guess give it an hour or so for them to fix. Time for gym/dinner i guess.
I can’t log in either. Bleh.

Forums seems slammed, so does the support page, which could effect the alerts on the launcher. This is one of those situations where going to Twitter may not be perfect, but a back up plan.

We are aware, and it’s being looked into.
We seem to have some issues impacting our connection as well, which is delaying getting some messaging out but it looks like we have Breaking News up now.

Unfortunately, I’m seeing reports of our own tools being unresponsive and sluggish. That we managed to put up the Breaking News first is kind of surprising.
It appears we were able to put out a Tweet.

Are other Twitter accounts dealing with it? Fairly it could be just a chance circumstance of two different things happening at the same time but it just seems far too direct personally speaking to Blizzard specifically.
I hope it gets sorted out soon.
We will continue to use the channels available to us, that make sense and provide value, to get information out to those who want/need it. If you don’t wish to use it, that is entirely your right. It is why we also post these kinds of announcements in the Battle.net App.

I heard from my friend, who got abducted by extraterrestrials once, that the illumanti deployed an AI that went rogue and instead of world domination it decided to corner the mageweave market on WoW RP realms and it duplicated itself too many times overloading the server. You can trust me. I know a guy.
This gives the Battle.net app value!

No, Twitter is an option. One used by the 1+ million that follow @BlizzardCS.
Us using a variety of communication methods takes nothing away from you, the information is still available in the main place is it intended to go, the Battle.net Desktop App.
