Cannot log in since patch without using launcher

I normally log into the game by using running it directly, entering my email/pass and then my auth code - if it prompts.

But now it’s asking for my auth code and comes up with an error saying I’ve been disconnected (WOW51900314).

I know my details are right, because I can log into to the Battle.net launcher without any problem (using the email/pass + auth) and then start the game fine. I also have another account that works fine, but I always log in using launcher for that one.

Authenicator Code Request

Disabling authenticator “fixes” this, doubt thats what blizzard wants tho. Was bored and had to try, hoping someone will see this and respond. Unless blizzards new stance is for people to disable authenticator, but would be good to know if thats what they want us to do.

Same for me … I can’t log in via the app directly anymore either. Have to go through the battlenet launcher. Perhaps it has something to do with MS purchasing WoW?
