Title. After searching on the internet for a while, I cannot find a clear answer to this. No where does it specifically say that a server transfer will disallow a service such as a ‘faction change’ for 72 hours. It does say that for recently boosted characters, though; which my priest is not (only recently transferred servers and did a name change). Could use an explanation for this, thanks.

Most services have that limitation, Faultline.
Things don’t always go through immediately. A good part of the delay is to make sure things don’t get snarled if there is processing time involved.

They all say “Completed” near the payments.
That’s great - but the timer isn’t transaction specific, it’s across the board to allow for the contingency if they were not.

When you say limitation, do you mean I’m on cooldown or that process on your end has not finalized and it can be lifted at any time (an hour, a day, etc.), instead of a fixed 72 hour cooldown? Or do you mean any service such as a server xfer or faction change, initiates a 72 hr cooldown for any other character service?
I’d like to know this because let’s say I faction change a character who the day before I did a server change with, will the cooldown to server change AGAIN, happen 3 days from when I server xferred prior, or the cooldown will start from the faction change I just did?
Sorry if its a bit confusing, but I’m honestly confused how the cooldown system works (in regard to the fixed 72-hr one) and there is no clear explanation for the specifics I brought up online.

Yes, but then how do you explain the ability to faction change right after a server change? I’ve been able to do that in the past, but I just don’t understand what’s blocking me exactly now.
The same thing blocking you now is what would block you in the past, I imagine. Realm and faction change is the only service they ever offered as a bundle in the past and, one would surmise, is the only way to skip the internal cooldown between specifically those services.
If they were purchased separately, perhaps as a means to enjoy the current sale on services, you would not benefit from that bundling bonus. I’m not even sure if they offer that bundle anymore, to be honest.
I’m still confused. I know you were able to buy them as a combo in the past, but that changed with the addition of transfer tokens. So, now I should’ve been able to bypass the cooldown since I am trying to faction change someone I recently server changed with, yet I’m on cooldown. Could it be that I also gave them a name change recently?
