Cannot enter instance while in Timewalking Campaign

I’ve hit level 50 but cannot enter other parts of the game.

I get messages like “Cannot enter instance while in timewalking campaign”

Please help. I’ve talked to Chromie and I can’t enter current timeline.

You need to select Cata from chromie to do classic instances.

When talking to Chromie she says “The situation in Icetown needs you. Without your help, Azeroth’s future is doomed!” and gives no options to click on.
I have tried to enter Firelands, Bastion of Twilight, Eye of Eternity as well as others.

I believe Timewalking is only available through to level 50. You should be able to enter the dungeons manually though. Are you getting that message when you try to enter through a portal or when trying to queue for dungeon through the LFD tool?

I get the message when trying to walk through portals. I have not tried the LFD.

It doesn’t look like you completed the intro into Battle for Azeroth that I can see. If I had to guess, that might be part of the issue. I’d recommend opening up Boralus.

Including grabbing your Heart of Azeroth by picking up “A Dying World” again and completing that through “Infusing the Heart”.

I am trying to enter Utgarde Keep and I’m gettign the same message. I’m on my 46 rogue. I’ve never talked to Chromie on this alt, and I’ve run this dungeon many times on her.

If you go visit Chromie, what dialogue options does she show for your Rogue?

I haven’t gone to Chromie, never once interacted with her on this alt.

I understand that.

It is just that I have seen other posts where people were in same situation and sometimes they were given the option to exit Chromie Time by talking to her.

Just thought it wouldn’t hurt to check with her. My apologies if doing so didn’t help.

Strange, did you visit Chromie as Kyzera recommended? It does look like you have the Mists of Pandaria expansion selected with Chromie currently.

You might wish to visit her in Orgrimmar and clear your current Timewalking status if you are still attempting to visit Utgarde Keep.

I was hoping I didn’t have to do that as the flight path to Utgarde is ridiculously long. I just gave up trying and figured I’d try again when timewalking is over.

To be clear, the timewalking you are in is the Timewalking Campaign, it is what any character under level 50 can select when leveling to level through a specific expansion. From what I saw your character has Mists of Pandaria selected.

That aspect of timewalking isn’t limited by time but level. Your character will move out of the Timewalking Campaign when it hits level 50. Prior to that you simply need to visit Orgrimmar and speak with Chromie to exit it.
