Cannot Complete Night Fae Covenant Campaign after Rejoining

I put in an in game ticket already (US80252120) and here is most of the info I’ve put in the ticket before and after the automated response, currently awaiting for a GM response. My current ticket is just over 2 days old.

I cannot currently continue the Night Fae campaign. I had been previously been working on it and was on the Taking Inventory quest, however I swapped covenants, and upon returning to Night Fae I cannot find out how to continue the quest. I have a buff Mask of Bwonsamdi (324322) and the Mask of Bwonsamdi follows me and gives me an option to Travel to De Other Side, but this does nothing, I also do not have the Deathstone item in my inventory to travel to De Other Side from the On De Other Side quest.
As a side note, I have tried relogging with and without addons on as well, left the zone totally and come back as well.
I have tried to rezone several times (through flying in and out, hearthstone, as well as many other methods) and none of that helps.
There is no quest for me to abandon, it is not in my quest log and there is no way or place for me to pick it up, I have completed the quest On De Other Side (59809) but not Taking Inventory (59811), which is not in my quest log and there is no where for me to resume it. I checked the completion using:

The mask of Bwonsomdi that follows me around in Ardenweald has an option when I talk to him to teleport me to De Other Side, but selecting it does not work.
I have searched every community source and forum and have not found anyone with this problem or solution yet.
I have fully reset my interface twice (deleted WTF, Cache, and Interface folders, also run the Scan and Repair tool through the launcher) to try to resolve the issue and that has not helped.

This is the prompt that I get when talking to the mask, which does nothing after clicking it, even if I leave the zone and reenter (through hearthstone, flying, engineering toy, or guild stormwind portal cloaks)

I’m not aware of any particular issues with this quest, Exzonerate, and this would probably be best in the Bug Report forum, but if you are amiable, I could poke around.

I’d need you to switch off this character though to another. Just let me know. :slight_smile:

I closed out the game for now. I was previously on the Taking Inventory quest, swapped away from Night Fae, and upon returning to Night Fae I cannot resume it (since you pick it up from Bwonsamdi in the special instance of De Other Side after completing On De Other Side).

I do appreciate any help you can give, as I cannot finish out the campaign (also unlocking my 3rd soulbind) and get past 36 Renown until I can resume the quest.

Edit: as shown above the mask follows me around Ardenweald all the time, but the option to teleport to De Other Side doesn’t work at all sadly.

Thanks for that. Yeah, nothing is standing out for me either. I can see a report similar to yours, but there doesn’t seem to be a workaround or resolution yet. I don’t want to try and change anything that might mess you up more.

If you can, I’d ask that you copy/paste what you posted here in a thread in the Bug Report forum so our QA team can take a look.

I have one posted, just hoping to get a resolution soon as it feels bad to not be able to progress my campaign anymore. Thanks for your help! I’m hoping either the Mask of Bwonsamdi that follows me around can actually port me, or a GM can just put the quest back in my quest log.

I’m sure it’s not easy for you to know or answer, but any idea how long it’ll be until a GM gets to my ticket since I reopened it yesterday?

Response times are a little over a day at the moment. The goal of course would be for the mask to do what its supposed to but we’ll have to see what can be done.

I’ve passed on the issue so hopefully they can figure out what it happening.

Thanks again for your help, shortly after your reply, I had a great GM help me in game and got me started on the quest again. I did submit the bug report through the forums (also updated there my problem was solved by a GM). He said that he gathered info for QA so hopefully any others can get it resolved after submitting a ticket.

One of my characters has the same exact issue, after searching the web noticed theres posts all the way back to december having the same problem. if there isnt any viable solution to fix the problem let me know so i can just switch him to another covenant instead.

It isn’t the same cause from that far back. It may crop up again due to differing reasons, but if you submit a ticket it on it or post over in the bug forum where the proper staff may see it, that may get you a better response. There are no GMs here, so putting in a ticket is the only way for one to peek in on your issue directly.

It seems I have the same issue, the mask is following me but I can’t do anything, could I get some assistance as well :frowning: I’ve also got a ticket in the bug section, just is a bummer not being able to proceed in the campaign.

Try queuing for an arena as that usually removes any buffs or debuffs that might be affecting a character.

Have you submitted a ticket to Blizzard to request help on your stuck quest? They have a category just for that issue.

You’ll want to follow the same advice, Abencoado. Submit a Stuck on Quest ticket so a Gam Master can take a look.

You may receive an initial reply directing you to wowhead or other self-help options. Those go out when we’re seeing a lot of quest/achievement tickets to make sure folks check the available resources first. Just reopen your ticket if that happens.
