I have characters on a dead Classic realm, Stalagg. I cannot log in to them. The character names are Greyed out. I can create a new character on this realm however
There is a free transfer available in the Shop but there are no Realms to select in the dropdown to Transfer to.
It says a Clone is available but the shop is closed for that.
How can I access these characters again? I would like to play them in WoTLK. It says they are active in Burning Crusade… but can’t figure out how to play them.
The character clone service was retired in July of this year. So it isn’t possible any longer.
However, it does look like a couple of the characters you are seeing on Stalagg, were moved to Burning Crusade Classic/Wrath of the Lich King Classic already. The level 6 Priest and 32 Druid are on Earthfury in Wrath of the Lich King. The Druid is 34 now, last played in February.
Do note if you want to play the WOTLK toons, you have to install the WOTLK client and not the WoW Classic one.
Got it. Under the Realm selection screen, there were no characters showing on Earthfury until I loaded into it. Seemed like nothing was there.
