I don’t know about this. We are 5 months into the xpac and there is nothing to do except grind medals and that is only 5-10 a day and maybe a paragon chest twice a week. They even made it so it is ineffective to grind AP if you wanted to. WoD had much more to do 5 months into the xpac.

Well things are going to spice up with alliance invasion attempt of Zandalar .i have never been so much excited about an event since cataclysm ground breaking changes .

I am actually about to the same point as you. I do not mind the GC changes, but #2 and #3 nail it on the head for me as well.
I keep leveling characters instead of doing BFA content. BFA content is so boring and unrewarding. I dislike logging in to see any of it and havent touched a BFA character for more than 20 min in months.

Unsubbing too. Raid doesn’t excite me enough and I think the system and class design really ruined the expansion. I hate Azerite Armor sys. They gutted what made Legion great at the end, and made changes I can’t wrap my head around.
Maybe I’ll be back for 8.2.

Hopefully will see you resubbed in two weeks for the Battle of Daza’lar, no point unsubbing as I want to see the gnome king get his butt whooped.
They are, but a problem I have with this (though it will hypothetically be better than what we have now) is the fact it is happening so late in the expansion.
Azerite is a huge problem now, and this overhauled system doesn’t have the benefit of Legion’s, which has a full development cycle before release. The 8.2 fix at best will have 8.2’s dev time with only one major patch to fix unseen issues and imbalances and two 8.X.5’s. Legion artifacts were an iterative process tweaked through the expansion that brought huge additions to the classes.
8.2’s change is supposed to do the same with less development time AND less patches to iterate upon. Will it be better than what we have now? I’d think so, but either way, such a huge systemic change midway through an expansion is rightfully worrying.
I guess we really can’t know until 8.2 PTR. Not to be overly negative, I just don’t want to set my expectations too high just to be disappointed. I’m expecting a jurry rigged fix to get us through BfA. Nothing more substantial.

OP hit the nail on the head. Sad thing is if most companies made a product the majority of consumers didn’t like they would change the product to make it better. Don’t see anything happening here.

I agree with the OP so much, it’s just a shame another person is leaving, I swear I use to love going onto the forums, now it just makes me really sad…

Renewed sub like I do every month. See you in classic though! retail can keep being crap and probably will be.
I have left the game several times for various reasons. I lost all faith in the game at the end of cata/MoP. I did not even level my main during the panda fiasco. I really don’t understand why all the negative kickback for BFA. Is it perfect, absolutely not! But damn, it much better than some of the other expansions Blizz has released in the past. Which includes WoD. I would rank WoD higher than Cata and MoP though…those were just flat out garbage.
It is really interesting to not see any of what I consider the largest faults in your list. The largest, by far, is the RNG-at-all-costs model that BfA is. No matter how hard you work the content, you can’t guarantee a full set of anything anymore - they really should bring back the valor/conquest systems to reward people properly.
