2 words… Rage Quit!
I had to wait in que today. I knew there woul be long wait times to get in. Did you not do the stress test that was set for 24 hrs and lasted all weekend? I knew from day one of stress testing there would be wait times to get in. Did you not read that they made new servers because of the numbers of people wanting classic?
Every launch or expansion thers has been issues. I’m happy they brought back classic and the freedom to build your toon the way you wamt it.

I joined in 2006 but by all accounts Vanilla launch in 2004 was probably the most unstable the game had ever been.
While i expected it to be like this I was rather surprised it was as bad as it was. My problem wasn’t the queue, it was fighting " world server is down " for nearly 2 1/2 hours.
I think they did themselves and fans a serious disservice by not having that last stress test be open rather than needing a sub. I think it would have given them a much better idea what they were looking at.

Bro, nobody cares that you’re quitting in fact we welcome smaller queues.
That’s because forum ragequit posts have always been hilarious. Even if the person may have a legitimate gripe, these posts nearly always come off like self-entitled toddler tantrums.
Too bad. I couldn’t on last night and I expected it to be like that (so I wouldn’t be disappointed). I was able to log in to any server instantly this morning.
I’m not saying it’s wrong to be upset by the launch experience, but don’t you think it’s a bit of an overreaction to quit the game from one night of a bad experience? You’ve got a month of game time, why not just try again when it settles down after a few days/week/couple weeks before giving up for good?

This is objectively false. There was so much downtime well into 2005 , that my account had literally weeks of free days added.

utter blizzard fan boys. Has a right to be disappointed and pissed. Oceanic had 1 pvp server, no other option. Logged in and did a solid 8 hours from release. Got to level 15, then got DC’d in blizz’s *let the streamers on, random/not random dcs’.
Even though a straight reconnect, I got put into a queue of 12000 which has barely moved the last 4 hours.
I’ll play another server, no probs… but I’d like to have not wasted 8hours today on a day off. So let me access my character and server transfer it, then you’ll get no QQ.
But we can’t access our characters. We cant server transfer. We are just told, well even though there was only 1 pvp oceanic server, there is now 3… go roll somewhere else. Say goodbye to other guild mates, friends and 8 hours of wasted leveling. Roll somewhere else bruv, you be right.
Stop being fan boys, it was a total let down by blizz.

How is wanting to make sure server pops stay healthy over time (and wanting to avoid mergers and/or forced transfers later on) “disrespectful”?
There are always issues of some kind around xpac launches, and this isn’t an xpac launch! This is something much, much bigger. Have a bit of patience (I lost mine for a while last night, true).
