How many expansion launches will it take before people stop acting shocked that this kind of stuff happens at the very beginning?
FFS, i was in the character screen 20 min before launch FIGURING BACKLOG WOULD HAPPEN.
I also figured once I made the choice to log for dinner and fun time, I wouldn’t be able to log back on for the rest of the night.
Like, come tf on people use your brains, of course this was going to be like a normal expansion launch with all the backlog and chaos…there was massive hype around this, to expect this to somehow go massively more smoothly than every expansion launch, is silly.

Lol the game was playable on vanilla launch…HAHAHA what a troll. Hell the entire game crashed multiple times, EK completely died in most realms and some servers went down for days if i remember correctly…but that launch was playable…lol

So you found the forums to officially cancel you sub.
But you could not check the forums about launch.
If you did you would have known about the queue times.
I knew I was going to wait. I was lucky the first time only a five min queue time. The second time same server I had a two hour wait. Decided to make an alt when i can not log on to main. Changed servers until I found one with a 25 min wait. But I knew I was going to wait so I have no reason to complain.

You’ll be back once they add a few more servers this week. 
I remember back then not being able to play for an entire week when they needed to take down servers. It happens. As such though, I doubt they’ll give refunds seeing as retail was up, even if you were in a queue for Classic. It’s been an exhausting day, got to play a little bit but yes its been mostly queues. Hopefully they’ll look into it but you are acting like this isn’t normal for any company. What other gaming company revamped the most popular MMO of its time? Sheesh.

Hell, in WoD a couple servers went COMPLETELY OFFLINE day one…yet alone the crap show in vanilla.
OP is being pretty darn absurd acting like day one of Classic is a legit reason to cancel a sub, so silly.

I think you are on to something here. I am trying to put myself in the complainers shoes but everytime i do i remember all the warnings all the threads all the buz the reasoning behind the queues and so few servers.
Then i ask myself …how can anyone that was paying attention get blind sided with this scenario and i lose all empathy.

If you didn’t see this coming you’ve never experienced wod launch let alone vanillas launch. Or if you were in a guild that raided on tuesdays you weren’t raiding if it was a maintenance week until thursday. I say good riddance to people like this, one less slot others have to wait in queue, I personally don’t care about classic as I’ve already been there and done that but thought this was pretty funny especially on day 1.

Yeah ok there bud. Fringe players are the ones that are going to see a queue and say ‘meh, I’ll try in a week’. No fringe player has to be in day one- because a fringe player has other things to do. If he had nothing but Vanilla WoW to play- then he’s not a fringe player.

In a week you’re going to change your mind. If they add any more servers at this point, there’s going to be a community shattering drop-off that servers won’t recover from.

Blizz needs to issue refunds for garbage they suckered a bunch people into paying for or even schedule time around.

ESPECIALLY when they acknowledge they “Could” support it right with the proper hardware but instead just want to F* people instead!

If you can’t wait 1 day for an mmo then there wasn’t even a chance you’d last in long run anyways.

With that kind of attitude I am glad you canceled, classic would have been to much to handle because stuff isn’t handed out, classic is for grown ups who wants the social function retail lacks today.
