Or some people just have perspective and can live without playing for a few days. It’s almost like everyone wants to play the first night of the launch or something.

i have been here for your every launch, since war1 and diablo1. i am one of your most loyal fans. this launch has been the worst in your history, by such a margin, i have to ask why? why have you made classic such a miserable experience for your biggest fans?

I spend more money on coffee from Mon-Fri for crying out loud. 
this why wow doesn’t have new players. It is all old players returning.
They should have locked / closed servers as soon as they notice queue times went over 5 min. And added new server for people to choose from.

If you think these limits are actual limits, you’re extremely naive. They chose to do this, but could easily support 2-3x the players on each realm. It’s not 2004 anymore. There’s people running dedicated servers for social media management running thousands of accounts, doing hundreds of actions per hour, and those servers cost $100/mo. Blizzard has the funding and tech to have been better prepared for this. Azeroth can support 50k-100k concurrent players if levels are varied and people aren’t congregating in one spot, the only limits are the ones blizzard are imposing by refusing to upgrade server space. The last queue I was in was for 30 minutes on Tich when MoP launched. They should have been prepared based on Sub numbers alone.

If that were true i honestly wouldnt be surprised. Blizzard have definitely shown themselves to be stingy with their profits, so i could see the guys in charge just choosing to not upgrade equipment for spending reasons.
But come on, anyone that didnt expect this is also naive. They’ve been giving warnings since character creation opened. And launch days have always been notorious for problems.
If something had happened 1 month in, such as extended maintenance, and no one could get in all day, there wouldnt be nearly this much complaining of “we paid for a service and we arent recieving it”. Maintenance happened all the time and it was annoying but people werent in a rage over it. Its all because everyone is excited about classic and having to wait a little longer sucks when youve been telling youself “today is the day”. This is extremely blown out of proportion.

From my perspective, you’re objectively wrong. If you had a bad experience it was probably because you stupidly chose to stay on an overpopulated server despite Blizzard’s explicit warnings against doing so. I had zero problems playing on Myzrael.

If OP is this quick to give up, think about how long OP will last in Classic. My money is on that he won’t even reach Level 30 and switch over to Retail or just move onto something else.

Well, sadly they didn’t have nearly enough servers. A lot of us said that the day they announced the servers. It was very obvious they didn’t have anywhere near what they needed. And adding them on launch day is kind of…too late. As we’ve seen. But it is what it is. Missing out on 1 day isn’t the end of the world.

Listen Blizzard should have seen the mass amount of people trying to log in before today sure if thats what your getting at I don’t disagree. But, I managed to log in right off the b at had no issue playing sure it was a bit laggy at first but within the first hour it was more than playable. Hell, I even had too exit the game because my Audio drivers died and I had too re-install and I’ve been in que now for 6 hours sure it sucks but only because I couldn’t keep playing with my buddy. Doesn’t mean imma cancel my sub or anything that’s kinda pitiful if you ask me.
