Canada sub price increase

Always funny to see America live rent free in others heads.

This isn’t putting a tariff on a physical product like Maple Syrup or Apple Pies. It’s just data. There’s no reason to charge higher than the converted price I calculated above…

Well, your politics over the last 4 years have certainly left a lasting impression on us.

Yeah, there is that. Our Commander in Cheeto hasn’t exactly done much to endear us to the rest of the world…

I am curious where it comes from. I checked the shop, and it still lists $18.99. Is there a different sub people are running into? Does it charge more?

Even before these past 4 years it has been the same.

… uhhh, there arent canadian servers because canadian players are largely in the same time zones as american players, and generally speak the same language. Separating them would make zero logical sense.

Lol, you deserved a like just off of this. :joy: :joy: :joy:

Somewhat, yes. Obama was quite liked in Canada because we could feel more comfortable with him in charge of our closest ally. Given our close ties - for well over a hundred years - of course we tie ourselves to you closely. Believe it or not, so does the US to Canada.

We’re just really boring. Which… honestly, is good.

This is completely wrong. There have been multiple court rulings declaring that digital purchases and property have tangible real world monetary value and are therefore the legal property of the account holder and NOT the video game company.

Also I think it’s hilarious that I made this prediction in the other thread and here you are using the exact tactic I said y’all would.

And that is what, a threat? Oh look salana said something to trigger people in the past. Better look out!

Literally no one cares on this basketweaving forum.

Nobody needs to pay cash for outfits and pets and mounts. That is ridiculous and 100% voluntary.

Which is incredibly odd change.

You can simply sub, than cancel it from renewing to act as buying game time, for a cheaper price.

I feel like they’re doing this change simply to move people away from buying game time and to monthly subs.

Not sure how I posted in this thread and to you. I was responding to a thread on a BG forum. Forced logout, avatar says im still on proudmoore but im on aggramar. /shrug

From what I can find the actual subscription plan is still $18.99 like it has been for years.

You can separately from that buy 30 days of game time for $21.99 which I can’t find any reason for the price increase on considering that’s not the WoW Token(which is $25) that you can sell for in-game gold.

That doesn’t change that more than “Just a few dollar increases on the sub” has changed in gaming in the last 16 years like people were acting.

People banging on about how optional it is doesn’t change that 16 years ago we’d have gotten all of it for just the cost of the game.

People often ignore that fact when they talk about how “WoW’s subscription price hasn’t increased in 16 years”. They’ve heavily monetized the game in other ways.

I personally will gladly cash in on an increase in Battle Net Balance for the Tokens I buy for gold on the AH.

$3 more per token in balance will add up quickly!

services increase by $5 to compensate for this change

Not yet! I will join the angry mob with pitchforks if that happens! Right now I’m mainly just confused, as like I said, the sub price itself hasn’t changed at all.

Lol, I shouldn’t be laughing at this but really that’s exactly what will more than likely happen.
