Can you get rating in solo shuffle and use it to upgrade gear?

You can get rating, no you cannot upgrade gear.

I think that you’re meant to be able to but can’t right now. Hopefully whenever they do another reset.

They put out a bluepost 21 hours ago on Wowhead saying that it should be fixed, but it is indeed NOT fixed.

I got excited and logged in to try to upgrade my gear as I hadnt played this entire season except for the last 2 days of the season. Got to almost the full set yesterday, and can’t upgrade any of it now aside from what i did the last day of the season.

I think it has something to do with skipping rating brackets, and getting that 1 win in whatever bracket you’re in, because you’re in the next bracket by the time you get that win, still would think I could upgrade at least to the rank below that though
also not sure what constitutes “winning a match” is it going 3+ wins, or winning a round?

this cant be true because in 2s/3s if you win and hit 1800 exactly you dont have to now go win a match again to win in that bracket.

you have to have a win, and the rating essentially. The win that gets you the rating is good enough.

there is just an issue with the off season situation that isnt allowing it to work.

same. im sad. i was excited to start gearing my alts.

im sitting at 1600 in solo on my dh now but i cant upgrade any gear.
