I’m not sure if this is covered by any of the stipulations…
My daughter loves to play, and created her toon on my account over Xmas. Anyone know if this is possible to move her to my second account?

Move her from existing acount to existing amount in general no.
But making a new acount for her than moving over yes have done that before to spilt myn and my brothers accounts back in the day.
That being said that was when blizzard paid attention to tickets. As the rules of the game makes sharing amounts not allowed and by the rules each of you need your own acount that are not shared which dose sound like you do blizzards rules are such a transfer can’t happen as it’s “selling” a toon to a diff acount. Add in boosts and it complicates things.
The only thing you can do to try to get it to work is make a ticket explain your case and hope they read it. I would put in 3 or 4 try’s as different gms give different answers but with blizzards current gm staff I don’t think they will likly do it.
If they do when it happened to me had to send in ids of me and my brother to prove different but related people before they did.
Probably not. I think interaccount character transfer is disabled in classic.
I discovered this when I made a new account, bought another boost, leveled to 80, then tried to xfer the character to my other existing account with my mains. I thought I was being clever.
Yes if you bought boost you nonyou can’t transfer that blizzard even made a blue about that long ago.
His case is different thou as not talking about a boost by the sounds of it. As such no reason to not toss tickets in worst case they don’t read them. Better case they read them and say no. Best case you get lucky and they accidentally delete the toon when trying to transfer it. I don’t expect a better case from blizzard cms these days.
Well, i’m not trying to do anything but let her play while I play. Nothing underhanded, not trying to gain any kind of advantage over anyone, just move her guy to my second account which I will be paying for both accounts, so nothing clever here. Just trying to prevent her from leveling to 73 again, and make her happy.
Yeah alright. I want you to know that I don’t consider transferring a character from one account to another is underhanded, tricky, gaining an advantage over anything, or clever.
No accusations here.
I’ve wanted to merge my Classic characters in the past with a transfer from my one account to my other within my bnet account and it hasn’t been possible.
This is something that can be done in Retail since the early days but Classic is different.
You can certainly try to submit a ticket and explain but just understand the answer will probably be “No, sorry, we can’t do that”.
Also, Blizzard has stated specifically that account sharing with a minor child is fine even though other types of account sharing are not allowed.
Well, so I was told yesterday that I can transfer from one account to another, on the same realm. Too bad for me, since I sprung for the $80 epic Blizzard special for WOTLK, so my daughter could start at level 70. Some how, the help section leaves that out, but the game masters inform you that we can transfer. So now I want to transfer, and since I spent $80, I asked if I could transfer her guy for free. They advised me they do not have free transfers except in limited situations. I advised him since the wind is blowing out of the west, I get screwed because their help section is out of date. Other guild members looked up the same thing, and said I wouldn’t be able to transfer. Somehow, this doesn’t make sense that they would not update the help section to match what the game masters say, and if someone was wronged, Blizzard shouldn’t ask them to turn around and grab their ankles. So I will have to pay another $25 fee to transfer her hunter to my second account on the same realm.
Not available in classic.
You were lied to.
Is possible in classic.
As mentioned have had it done please don’t spread miss info.
The odds to get a gm to help you is slim to non but the example I was speaking out included classic van toons.
Also the other guy you just claimed was incorrectly informed was talking about a gm telling him that. That’s not him being lied to that’s him being told directly he’s allowed to just pay the cost and it’s done.
Means 100% nothing.
One GM will say A, one will say B, and a third will say pizza. The GMs know less of how the game works/blizz policies than we do 99% of the time. That’s why they so often tell people to check wowhead for EVERYTHING even account related stuff. It’s also why people say to keep pushing the ticket until you get a different GM!
Want to get characters transfered between accounts? Push until you get a GM that hasn’t read the memo.
"It is not possible to transfer a Wrath of the Lich King Classic character to another WoW account or Battle.net account. "
"It is not possible to transfer a WoW Classic character to another WoW account or Battle.net account. "
The fact you can get a gm do to it means it means a whole lot more than nothing.
It means it possible not rocket sience.
You being able to link a page is what means nothing.
What matters in the end is if you can get it done or not fact is you can get it done. As mentioned I myself have had it done and he was also given the option to.
As the question was not if you can find a page that says you can’t. The question was can you get it done or not. Fact is you can get it done.
Also your own comment supports what I said not what you did. Yes gms and support pages at that are often wrong. Which is why linking a support page means nothing. What matters is what players have gotten done and what players have been given as options. Which as has been already said I have had a classic toon moved accross accounts and the op was given that option. It is fact you can move toons accross acounts regardless of what some random support page reads. Esp as policy’s change often without updating old pages. The only thing that ever matters is what can be done not what some old page reads.
