When you shift click someones name in chat it barely works 50% of the time since TBC prepatch.
Idk how this is still not fixed.

Always works for me, I think there is a small CD on it so if you do 2 back to back real quick the second won’t go through
If you’re trying to check more than 1 person in a min. Sometimes scrolling up in the chat log and waiting a moment. Then re-clicking works. I know checking 2 people at one time doesn’t work.
I know there’s a small CD but reality is, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t, with or without CD. Need to restart game when this happens.
Doesn’t matter how it works when the way it works is nothing like classic did nor how retail does it.
It’s broken, even if it works from time to time.
IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED.
There’s a 15$ monthly sub on a 15+ year old game, I expect things like this to get fixed.
This is not a priority 1 issue.
I’ve played Original Vanilla and TBC, it NEVER worked for more than 1 person.
It’s not broken. There’s nothing to fix.
It doesn’t say “Remastered TBC”. THIS ISN’T RETAIL
Nothing appears to be. No communication, no fixes, nothing. Why is this a sub based game again? Clearly there’s nothing to maintain.
Blizzard is by far the worst company when it comes to communication.
And yet… you continue to pay.
Does anyone /who and when you try to scroll through it just disappears?
I like that.
/who has gotten significantly better for me than it was during prepatch/TBCC release.
My server hasn’t had layers for a while but it did when /who wasn’t working, I wonder if it has to do with that.
I actually don’t but keep those assumptions going.
That has never happened to me before. Sounds like an addon issue.
click the who text field and press the return key instead of clicking refresh. the refresh button doesn’t work for me and there’s a minor cooldown like others have said
Happens with 0 addons and a fresh install on another PC.
Been like this since launch of TBC, I think Blizzard intentionally limits /who requests as some population addons use it to gauge player numbers.
100% an issue on Blizzard side. I tested this crap so many times with or without addons. There is def some server problem behind it.
Bumping cuz still no fix or update in phase 2
So, I’m super happy you made this thread. I really thought it was something with me and an addon and have driven myself bonkers over the entire expansion turning stuff on and off.
Yeah nope its just Blizzard making stealth changes to classic trying to fight addons. Fishing is disabled in BGs with TBC as well.
Any minor changes that people either won’t notice or care about, they WILL implement.
