Hpal, dragon, disc, and mw are all pretty close.
Shaman and rdruid aren’t bad either, but they don’t have strong saves or the mana regen to play safe and outlast so they’re a lot more “punished” for mistakes.

RMP never fundamentally changed the game wdym.
RMP was always about winning in kidneys and rotating your CDs appropriately throughout that, with some windows where you could outplay, e.g. flourishing duels/bombs, gripping bombs, so on so forth. RMP has never “fundamentally” changed hte game, because the comp has always worked the same way, outside of a few metas like WOD/Legion RMP that just w keyed you as assa/fire or assa/arcane and you had to outpve them.
FDK fundamentally changes an approach to the game because Frost DK does a go every minute, then does nothing for the next 50 seconds, and will do nothing but being annoying outside of that. There has never, in the history of arenas, been a spec that makes you not play the game for 50 seconds because of slows/grips and then force you to do a seriously outrageous outplay to not lose the game, and then still having a chance at losing the game because of how the spec functions. If you seriously tell me RMP has ever beat you when their entire go was outplayed, you either disconnected from the game or were already losing at that point. FDK has Never done this to people until DF/TWW, and it makes you play the game fundamentally different from how it’s meant to be played.
Rogue mage is designed to control, just like how MLX is designed to control melee. It does not mean you don’t have the tools to outplay them and make their win attempts null. FDK does not let you get to that point. There’s a reason I will always say players like whaazz/raiku are masterclasses at what they play, but players like xeek are trash that got lucky their spec & comp were effectively unbeatable if 2 brain cells locked in.

as a dk that knows the frost dk go, i have never lost to a frost dk, and i’ve faced xeek multiple times.

u arent even tracking enemy cds so u dont even know when theyre doing a go or not and to top it off u have a roleplayer addon in the bottom left of ur screen
the only skillful thing u did that game was spam emotes really fast to a team that is way better than yours
all i saw in that clip is a bunch of washed up old heads that dont know how to adapt to the modern game. if you think shadowlands rmp was much different than this u must have dozed off on the chair again during that xpac

any time a real team qs into frost dk they just know its literally free points if they trade cds and have a strong offense, sadly for many players who are boosted by their fotm spec they struggle with this because DF and TWW has dumbed down most of the playerbase into just relying on mana and dampening as their win condition every game.
coordinating cc and doing setups to close out games fast is a foreign concept to alot of players nowadays i guess

something about dks they feel entitled to only play 1 spec full time if it’s unholy or frost they somehow beat out warriors on the whining.
Maybe add 4-5 more damage buttons on frost dk and people wouldn’t care if it was viable instead of the current itoddler version. Even your team mate is a 2 button spec.
Frost dks popping all their defensives to be immune in a go then telling you that you should be trading your cds better.
