Devs, can you please add an option to darken the background on the Quest Tracker on the screen. Some of us old people who play have bad eyes. I saw a script that would add it but it did not work for me and I am not about to go messing with something I don’t know anything about.
Sorry to say the devs don’t frequent the support forums for player feedback. You’ll want to post on General Discussion or the Quests forums. Also try the Macros/UI forums to see if any mod authors have a solution.
I agree, the quest tracker does get kinda lost especially with a busy or bright background (like Bastion). I had to adjust the contrast quite a bit to get it sorta readable.
like swift said, the devs that handle requests and feedback of the sort for wow dont peruse the support forums, nor do the sfa blizz staff here aka blues liason for them.
if using the ingame suggestion tools dont work for you youd need to post in general discussion forum board instead. be aware you wont get a blizz response 9x out of 10 though. Also might be worth noting to post this in the quest forum instead of general discussion as well.
kaliel’s quest tracker has the ability to change most visual elements of the quest tracker, including opacity. Overall, it’s a much better tracker than the standard one.
This video covers its major features
Odd that you weren’t able to get that script to work.
It would be need to be done each time you log in to a character unless you followed the directions later in that thread I linked to make the script into an addon.
That is what I did and now the effect persists for all of my characters.
Thanks that is actually something that might work, I will try that addon.
