I just started off on Faerlina leveling a new char and wanted to know if you can make that 13kish in a month? What are ways of obtaining the gold? Without buying it obviously
Yes you can just simply play the game.
By doing dungeons or what kind of activities?
Easily doing the molten invasion or tb dailies
It’s worth mentioning that there are certain factors that can make it easier or harder to gauge how difficult it is to get enough for a token.
I’m on Pagle… about a month or a month and a half ago the tokens were going for about 21k. Right now, with the hype for MOP, the tokens are way down to 14k.
At least a few months after MOP launches if not sooner, the tokens will probably jump up quite a bit between some people dropping off once the raid grind hits as well how the expansion will make it easier to earn gold.
Lastly - I’ve made enough for a wow token in the last few days alone because I was going for Loremaster and was 85 before I even started the Cata zones. All the Cata quests give me 20-50g+ (based on level) and it’s been really fast easy gold. Once I’m done, there will be a more limited number of gold from dailies, so this is like a one-time bump.
I make enough every month for 2 accounts plus more than enough for anything I need. Bags are always a great seller in the AH. And watch the token prices. They are always dropping down on weekends and go up during the week.

Yes, very easily!
If you do daily quests at max level you can easily cover the cost of tokens.
It’s pretty easy to earn that at max level just with regular play. Unless you’re like me and it burns a whole in your pocket lol. But yeah just look at things that are going for a lot of money and farm that. Usually gathered resources will be going for a lot, especially right before a prepatch with a lot of returning levelers.
Or you can check out professions.
For example I have a max scribe so occasionally I look under the glyphs in the ah and if any of the glyphs are going for a lot I will go ahead and make several without any real effort on my part. I can collect the herbs if needed, but usually I can get the ink cheap.
