You don’t have to level in incursions.
And in fact if there’s so many of the other faction griefing incursions that should make leveling elsewhere that much easier.

Every PvP event in SoD has been a disaster on PvP servers. This event in particular enables so incredibly toxic behavior that it makes me question the mental stability of the players that involve themselves in it.
You literally chose to play on a PvP server.
lol
I love PvP servers on era, but I’ll certainly never again roll a PvP server in any seasonal “we are introducing new content” servers.
There are no interesting PvP encounters, and no PvP challenges at all. It just means you roll the dice on what layer you get, and that’s what dictates whether you’re able to do the content or not.
Actual well done PvP servers are very fun though.
this was the only good thing about mop
I like killing horde trying to do incursions, it gets me out of my basement in the morning. Seriously though, it’s a pvp server, incursions aren’t the only way to level. And if you want the rune, it’s a rep reward. Find a group to spam incursions in another zone, on a different layer, at a different level. It’s really not that bad.
Have you considered playing on a non-PvP server, like all the sane people do?
They rolled out Incursions let the sweatys make a ton of gold and level fast. Then they nerf it for the plebs. The usual blizzard method of rolling out a phase.
not only that if you were 5 hours late to the party now all the sweaties are lvl 50 camping the turn in. pvp on a pvp server though am I right next time get off work earlier.
all the ‘LMAO PVP ON A PVP SERVER HAHAHAHAH’ idiots really need to wind their neck in and refocus on the biggest issue of lazy design.
This conflict is not an engineered, intentional horde vs alliance pvp conflict.
This is blizz slapping down a single neutral NPC in a contested zone for PVE event, with zero guards or safe zoning, and calling it a day. When the worst part about a PVE event is the unavoidable PVP then you have successfully designed a terrible PVE event.
The whole loop needs to scrapped, no one is saying to make it instanced or safe but there should at a minimum be faction specific quest turn in NPCs or at least some guards around the turn in.
The incursion design is NOT consistent with any other pve/pvp open world design so far, it’s why it feels so terrible, because it has absolutely zero thought or consideration towards griefing like this.
This guy gets it. I would also add that people don’t feel “free” to roll on a pve server. The “choices” we have in Aus is playing on an American pve server raiding at American times or playing on the OCE pve server with a minute population that makes it difficult to raid/find groups. No wonder why so many oce pve players feel forced to roll on the pvp server where they will get good ping, be able to raid with others at a time convenient for them and has a healthy population.
yes, for aus specifically it’s been proven repeatedly (by servers dying and being merged) that the ONLY option is join the largest pvp mega server (Arugal / Shadowstrike) or you will absolutely be forced to migrate at some point.
roll minigame server to simp for streamers, get mad at the minigame you chose to be a part of
but why
They did. I believe everybody on CS can still transfer to Lava Lash for free.
I don’t have this problem on Lava Lash. You could try transferring off
Why? We like things the way they are
I mean you could pretty easily see how anyone who understood the PVP server ruleset could find this sort of thing appealing right?
Assemble others on your faction. Lead a party or raid into PVP battle and create your own fun in game in the world. If you are so focused on leveling, questing, and getting gear, that you would prefer to do that than PVP then I think that somewhat hurts the argument that, “I like PVP so I rolled on a PVP server.”
Can we parse in this raid?
How does logging work on a wpvp raid?
Politely and respectfully, Blizzard/Microsoft would rather put a few extra dollars in the pockets of investors and CEOs than not eat Steak for one night so you get a properly tested and released phase.
Theres a reason there were 40 minute queues for battlegrounds because Blizzrosoft cares more about $ in the pocket than the players.
Blizzard died in 2010, give up up up
The lazy and uninspired response of “lol you rolled on a pvp server!!!” is just a way for people to think they are “winning” the argument.
