Can you get heritage armor on race changed characters?

I race changed my other paladin to blood elf eons ago and I really like the blood elf heritage armor. I’d like to get it, but is that even possible on the character since it wasn’t originally a blood elf?

The core races do not have the same restrictions as Allied races do in regards to acquiring their heritage armors. They merely need the required reputation (or in case of Taurens, completion of part of the Horde war campaign in Battle for Azeroth).

Note that nothing in that support article says anything about having to level the character from scratch, which is different than allied races.

But this does add a reputation requirement for that faction.

You can get heritage armor on a race changed character as long as it’s not changed to an allied race. The allied races need to level all the way as that race.

You can get the heritage armor on one core race, race change to another core race that supports your class, then get the heritage armor of that race.
