This blue post about heirlooms tells us that ‘day 1’ and ‘day that raids open’ are intended to be different days, and generally that they want us to have time to level to 85 before raids open.

Organizing a first raid day for a guild/raid team.

I was actually curious as to what Auril will organize. Is he a raid lead or guild leader, or just considering his own schedule.

I’m generally just curious about what people mean and what changes for them when they ask for information in advance or by how much, and whether it will actually have any impact at all.

And not as a criticism, but actually out of general curiosity. As I am well aware that there are enough people playing this game that there will be circumstances that affect some that do not others, and all sorts of edge cases as well. Indeed, it is often the edge cases that are interesting!
