Yeah prot pallys alright but the movie waterworld is a cinematic masterpiece absolutely underrated for its time and a true film that’s stood the test of time.

Abom mastery does not = burst for prot pala lol tf are you even talking about?? In no world does Prot pala stack or take Avenge trait for burst lol. They dont even use that trait period.

Dude it’s not like it’s my personal idea so stop making it out that way. Other people use it. I just started playing Pally and I don’t care. This game is trash and I don’t care and trying to have some casual fun. Relax man.

This is literally from the Prot pally thread on the paladin class forums. Talk to him and argue there lol… I just don’t care. Other people are using it and having success. Let them play the way they want? Maybe they got some good results? Debate it with them though not me.
For me though I would like to block more. I would like more attack power. I don’t have any traits and might not get any cause you know RNG. One of the many reason my sub runs out soon. It just isn’t fun to play anymore. Until then I hope i can get some mastery to experiment or some epic Azerite pieces and try some things for myself. I like to test everything myself and not go by what other people are doing.
So far i really like Seraphim + Wings + Trinket for burst. Gotten some nice Judgement crits in BGs and have had some fun in Epic BGs. Which is good cause I really like Epic BGs and having a class that performs well there doing something I like.
PS- I don’t think there is a definitive best stat for a spec. Just the best stat for your playstyle. Some people might need more haste than others to feel right. Some might need more Versa. Some might like to have 15%+ crit or hit certain mastery. It’s completely up to the player though. I have a feeling that doesn’t make sense to you though 
This is why stats mattering again is good you can literally play the way you want at least with the sub you pay for. We just need Vendors.

Rextroy uses Vanguard head, Battlefield x2 a majority of the time because it IS the absolute best setup for prot pvp. He even states that to multiple people in a video.
I don’t care what you think about mastery, versa, haste w/e. Prot only fills 1 role in 3’s. He tested the mastery and said DO NOT STACK wings trait for prot. He also stated Versa is our best stat BY FAR as prot pvp. Some go haste because they cannot get the gear with versa, I had trouble myself because BFA RNG gear is good times. You’re a prot pala, your damage is not on par with dps. The burst is semi close. You gear and spec for your partners period.
Even in bgs if you’re playing to win you’re still going to take the best prot pvp traits and stats.
He will wings for burst in 2’s a lot and save seph for healing partner if the cds dont go right. You don’t always just pop wings and seph and go hammie. I get that it is fun for you in bgs which is fine but don’t state your opinion as facts. Just because “you” like to try this or that or a different stat.
If you’re going to list a guy like Rextroy on EU at least know what hes actually saying in his videos. I can cut the clips for you if you really need

At some point you will learn I could care less I stated it several times. I also don’t think I was stating anything that was best for 3’s or Arena which is the least played part of PvP.
The very best PvP traits and stats are the ones that suit your playstyle and build you are working on. Nothing more nothing less. We have choices for a reason. To stack what we want to achieve what we want in a particular build.
I think you care to much and I don’t. I am casually playing till my sub runs out. I can cut clips too! You aren’t always right since in this instance you are wrong. Since the clip says the opposite

With that said as many others have said Mastery is pretty good for some fun burst. Think the higher block would be fun too especially against spells which you can’t stop in a BG setting. Just better mitigation against spells and dots. Blocking Gpyro, Starsuges etc is a great feeling. I miss the old days of being Hit capped on my Prot warriors and being able to block everything on a Pally feels good.
If you disagree guess what? No one cares dude this game isn’t serious and never should be taken that way. However make a thread on the Pally forums saying that Mastery or X is bad if you feel compelled to do so. Since that is where people are saying to use Mastery and other traits.

As always someone is taking a thread about something else and making it about The Abomb for some reason. He is The People’s Champ but sometimes he doesn’t need all the lime light. Try to stay on topic make it about Pally and not The Abomb.

The guy has several videos out on why mastery is bad and you link an old vid where he was testing traits smashing on bad kids.
I get it, you’re a baddie pvp’r hunting other baddie pvp’rs in BGS. Thats fine, but don’t come to the “ARENA” forums and talk about builds and stats when all you do is rando bgs with back peddlers.

Thanks for the tips on prot pvp, when I finally get the traits needed I can’t wait to try it out.
So far 0 vers trinkets on my pally and I’ve received mostly haste gear.
Although I’m 8% vers so it’s not the end of the world, wouldn’t mind getting those damn trinkets!!! I even have a 370 token to use waiting for the drop.
Don’t think The Abomb can be roasted but usually people try to be a douche instead.
I have 2 but switching out some and wished I had more haste gear. My haste is so bad and have mostly versa.
