Even 200 friends per game would be pretty outdated, but across all Blizzard games it’s brutal.
I really hate deleting old friends to make room for new ones because some of them may return in the future and I’d love to be able to play with them again if so.
Can we please raise the limit to something reasonable for a social gaming experience?

Wait do you actually consistently keep in touch and play with over 200 people? That’s pretty wild lol

If you want to do rated battlegrounds or arenas you pretty much have to collect an flist of compatible players since this game puts the burden of group formation on players. Same is true for ranked Overwatch too.
I’m lucky if I can tolerate 20 people at the same time lol.

I can’t even remember who the people are on my friend’s list now. Isn’t that what discord is for?
I mean I do both of those things and don’t have nearly as many people on my friends list. I’ll usually only add the group leaders for RBG’s and obviously good partners for arena but if they don’t log on for a couple weeks I just delete them.
I’m not trying to saying I’m right and you’re wrong I’m just amazed you’re able to keep up with that many people.
If you pvp competitively you will eventually run out of room on your friends list, especially if you play more than one Blizzard game. Discord is great but isn’t tightly integrated into the game, so it’s not as convenient as quick-join or in-game friend’s list.
I don’t even understand how this is at all controversial. If you don’t need a bigger friend’s list then it doesn’t matter at all to you. If you do then it helps a ton. If anyone here is legitimately against increasing the battle.net friend cap I’d love to know why.

You want more than 200? Preposterous!
Going to have to say a big no on this one chief, you couldn’t possibly top my 2 battle.net friends. Good thing I am a social/game platform designer and have the final say in what happens. Next time don’t post ridiculous requests like this on my forum mister!!

I’m not against it but I seriously doubt that anyone plays with over 200 separate people consistently. I mean the idea of meeting and adding over 200 people that play as consistently as you do is pretty insane.
Like I said I also do rated pvp and I don’t have anywhere close to that many friends. I feel like you have a fraction of your friends that actually plays and you just refuse to delete anyone in the hopes that they’ll start playing again.
Or you just add every single person that you end up queuing with.
Why don’t you just use text messages instead?
In case you guys didn’t know since you’re all super popular
This is what your Bnet looks like if you have 0 friends

Create a discord. Invite the 200 people. Find out who is really a friend.

Wait… how do you get that to pull up?
uhhh Asking for a friend.
That’s hysterical.
As for me, I’m always cleaning up my list. If I can’t remember your “name”, or you haven’t logged in for months and didn’t communicate to me you’d be taking a break: off you go.
I have a larger list than I would normally because I lead a guild. Wish the list was called “acquaintances” and the heart was “friends”.
Friends should not be a thing.
Adding name to a friend list should be considered a crime or a bannable offence.
As a true Warcraft player, you should:
- be afraid of others.
- have communication problems
- have no friend
- have no sex
- have anxiety using discord or any voice software

It’s nothing special lol, that’s just what it looks like if you have legit 0 friends, if you have 1 friend it won’t show

Wow… that’s pretty harsh… it’s like a not so subtle reminder about how lonely your online life is…
Oh wait… not you Kaurmine… you always have us zany people of GD to remind you why avoiding people is sometimes best for one’s sanity.
