Can we put Teldrassil comments to rest?

You think that’s bad. Section 179 has been infecting the tax code since 1958!

I’m sorry, the only code I’m familiar with is the Jedi one.

You would think after all these years, it would get tiresome bringing them up.

I find people who find excuses for a character that has been a 2 dimensional monster that has damaged the integrity of the IP through her trite teenage edgelord philosophy to be much more grating than a section of the playerbase voicing concerns.

Yeah why can’t they be like worgen fans and be miserable in silence?

I don’t get the impression that Worgen players are exactly silent. I can think of two right off the bat who have been rather vocal. As they should be.

Bold to assume I or any worgen fan is miserable but…okay I guess?

They kind of have to be, when their racial leader keeps getting put on mute by their faction leader.

Miserable is a poor choice of words and I don’t know what point he was going for, if there even was one. Annoyed that so much potential was wasted? Definitely

If you’re not miserable yet, clearly I haven’t done a good enough job of diverting this into a tax thread.

You’re giving me meeting PTSD… and a funny mental image.

“Genn, I think you’re on mute”
“Genn? Are you on mute?”
“Hang on, let me ping Genn real quick.”
“I think Genn’s having connection issues.”

Not enough people dive deep into tax codes Kyalin! If you want to change the thread make it a food one or a travel one lol.

It’s a little more depressing when you consider:

Sylvanas: Muzzle your hound.

Greymane: Sylvanas stole my kingdom! She burned down Teldrassil! She—

Anduin: Enough! Let us talk of peace!

“Genn, I understand your concerns, but I think we need to level-set expectations here. Now, I have consulted all of the stakeholders, and I have come up with a conceptual framework to incorporate into our management action plan. Your comments were considered, and we appreciate them. But we already discussed this on our last two checkpoints.”

"And on that note, let us discuss your recent concerns, Tyrande. I’m sorry, but we are currently occupied with spending the considerable amount of resources rebuilding an old castle from my grandpappy’s day that no one has occupied in over a decade. What? Oh no, never mind that’s it out in a wide-open field with no real strategic value whatsoever. 'Tis sacred to the human Alliance!

Also, we must make ready to assault the Zandalari island, and soon! Yes, when they see us attacking their city, there’s no way they’ll think of joining the Horde, who will likely be there defending their lives from us!

So you see, we simply don’t have the time or the resources to honor our pact with our primary ally on the other continent.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,

Anduin the Idiot"

“Don’t think of it that way, Ms. Whisperwind. It’s a structural and strategic realignment so that we can achieve greater efficiencies on a realistic timeframe, and to arrive at an outcome that aligns with our values. I don’t want to hear any more talk of any kind of “spin-off” or “divestiture”. It’s just a matter of competing priorities.”

Oh, and we know your city just burned down and your people mass murdered, but we decided to throw your soldiers into a suicide mission and we will NOT press our advantage. Glad I can kill more of your people for you

Signed,
God King Anduin, Emperor of Azeroth

“Wait, what ABOUT your initiative in Darkshore? Well, we are standing up a committee to gather feedback from the various parts of the organization so that we can develop a project plan. What? No, it’s not a plan for a plan. We’re setting up an office for developing strategic initiatives for Darkshore - it’s getting its own office! What more could you want?”

They were necessary business expenditures in order to promote further growth in their Alteraci investments.

We expect a answer in about…oh, six months if the talks go smoothly

“I’m sorry Mrs. Whisperwind but the alliance is going through a downsize and cannot possibly afford to divert our assets to acquiring darkshore when our Arathi deal is about to close.”
