Sylvanas did understand them. She was just too nihilistic to care anymore as of Edge of Night, and then the writers backpedaled on her then-new premise of securing a new future for the forsaken and turned it upside down thanks to BFA.
Point is, horde players want to be evil, but than complain when Blizzards writes them as such, than we get this nonsense about how they aren’t allowed to be honorable.
I just wish you guys would actually pick a side and stick with it
NEFPA is a misunderstood acronym. Kind of like the one for Federal Unemployment Tax, so let me clear the air a bit.
The Night Elf Flame Post Assessment (NEFPA) is an assessment that’s calculated off of a complex multifactor formula that you can find in form T-31D-4SII. We don’t have enough time to go over the entire calculation, but, for purposes of tax planning, the following generally tend to increase your liability:
Making broad statements about how Night Elf fans have nothing to complain about.
Proposing story ideas that expressly disadvantage Night Elf fans.
Complaining about Night Elf fans
Creating shock value events that destroy Night Elf fans’ investment.
Keep in mind, these are general points - this is not an exhaustive list, and if you have questions, it’s best to take the facts of your specific situation to a tax planner with NEFPA experience.
Mekkatorque lives and has grown stronger through Mechagon technology and has united gnomes and mechagnomes, gnomes have two reclaimed cities in the lore, and with the Mechagonians they have access to and understanding of the strongest technology available to a playable race (that Blizzard will never implement 'cause it’d be heavily one-sided).
On the contray. I light a candle each night in memory of the Dark Lady. My frozen heart thrums with delight at the memory of that hideous elven stain being cleansed from Azeroth.
The IRS maintains a list of tax positions that they have seen so often, that they have defeated so many times, and that they are so annoyed by having to argue against them again that if you try to raise them seriously, they will just tax you more for even making those arguments.
People have banged their heads against the concrete wall complaining about the story for years. People have complained about Cataclysm until BFA happened, that’s 8 years. It amazes me the stamina that people have.
I dunno, you’re here a lot. You seem to find value in this trivial thing.
Actually, it turns out that people invest themselves in a lot of trivial things. Game of Thrones did not matter one iota to anyone’s life and yet it probably got more press coverage than the Capitol Riots. There are some Pokemon cards - little pieces of paper with animals drawn on them - that sell for thousands of dollars. I have family members who will miss family functions because every Saturday, some college kids from one college will play football with some kids from another college, and for some reason, the world decided that this event, almost every time it happens, should be televised.
It actually turns out, people like to be entertained, and they like to talk about that form of entertainment. Sometimes (actually, a lot of the times) people get passionate - and that’s okay. Life gets a lot more fun when you embrace your own weirdness, and by so doing, invite others to do the same.
