Diamond flask was fixed in som but for some reason there is an exploit in era where warriors can literally heal for more health than they have by stacking plus healing gear. You can not tell me with a straight face this was ever intended. Please fix this.
In era it is intended, or else they would have patched it out when they did it in SoM.

The inconsistency is what should be addressed. If bliz is happy to nerf Classic Rivendare’s Runeblade, then they should adopt the same stance on the Flask. A partial compromise would be to keep the +heal scaling and remove the snapshotting. Force the flaskers to fight over shaman/pally gear. Hands off the cloth!

I agree with the OP on the point of Diamond Flask.
Vanilla should receive tweaks & adjustments to ensure that performance was intended as it was back then, overcoming oversights, technical limitations and unintended consequences.
They prevented spell power to stack with spell damage proc items unlike in the actual WoW Vanilla, which reflects they do not want unintended consequences.
This rule should be consistent and not lob-sided.
I main warrior. Diamond flask healing mechanic in era is the dumbest thing for a developer to allow to persist. They explicitly said they’re allowing it to persist, which is just irresponsible game hosting on Blizzard’s part.

The weird interactions of vanilla are super fun, but when 2 of the same nature get different treatments, it feels sour.
- Equip pvp trinket to break fear because this is how he’s getting the spell healing bonus.
- Pop evasion to bait battle / overpower.
- Wait for the overpower or if you see him go to battle stance then blind.
- Just before blind fades sap and eat to full…
- Re-sap if you need more health.
- When you open cheap shot but have your character’s side facing the warrior so the auto swing doesn’t hit if cheap fails. If cheap fails stop attack re-stealth and re-sap and energy to full then cheap again same technique. When it lands Zug the big damage. GG you got em.
The manlier option is to equip Serenity.
