Can we please not force dancing rune weapon on San'layn

the main issue with VB was that it felt bad to use a defensive ability as an offensive and it also felt bad to hit VB and then DRW and then go into burst, tying it to DRW has been a mixed bag but its growing on me, esp if you add building and spending bone shield charges into your rotation.

i hope i never have you as a tank.

No idea how my opinion on how an ability works has anything to do with my skill as a tank, additionally this has nothing to do with the topic at hand and is completely useless information, please comment only if you wish to add to the conversation

you posted like you actively dont uses drw on cd as a tank, something thats essential for bdk to tank.

I do use it…it’s literally why i made this post, because I hate the way it works rn visually and would like to see changes…
If you had read the convo, i literally say im sucking it up and using it because its essential

Well the question about that asterisk was if Vampiric Strike works with DRW, making The Blood is Life thrice as effective.

My guess that it should work. If it doesn’t… well… Guess I’m sticking to DB.

a lvl 1 critter is far more effective for bloodbeast than DRW, but yeah, more damage done in window means bigger boom, and DRW means more damage done.

Wait… What?? :joy:

Would be cool if they used Remornia’s animations and effects for Dancing Rune Weapons.

This post is proof that some people will complain about literally anything…

Hold up, that’s a great idea for a Glyph!

Here’s a better idea.
Blizz gives us Remornia.

As a basically new player, all I’m gonna say is why didn’t yall offer feedback about the hero spec identity during dragonflight. Seems like a lot of people are unhappy/bored about the way sanlayn plays and how it looks. it could’ve been so much cooler

DRW is like the most satisfying ability blood can press… You just get to be a god for a bit.

Not sure where this is coming from.

There’s the pet version if you want. I have a macro to play Remornia-like sounds when I activate DRW:

/script PlaySound(176992)

OP, to each their own, but DRW is one of the best cds for any tank spec in the game. Divine Toll is the only better one I can think of, where it’s impactful AND lore-flavorful.

Then play something else. I cannot for the life of me or anyone else why people make themselves do or play something they dont like. You arent forced to do anything. You can literally close your wallet of your own choosing and stop giving money to a company you think is a failure at game design.

Does all design have to be grandiose? No. We also arent a raid boss.

Im not telling you anything but to not play something you dont like. Move on to what you consider greener pastures.

Where are your complaints for Incinerate? Rain of Fire… a flickering candle flame towards your enemy… “thats it”?

They have 0 expectations of you. Close your wallet and walk away if you dont like it.

well sorry for critiquing laziness in a game that expects $240 a year out of me to play it…after i paid for 11 times over…

actually read the post instead of coming up to a conclusion from the title, my issue is with the visuals of the ability, not how it works

  1. I literally said in a prior post i enjoy the game, i literally just hate the visuals of the ability

  2. No, it doesn’t have to be grandiose, but you can put more then 90 seconds into designing an ability…esp if its an essential ability

  3. then why are you commenting?

  4. All of which HAVE UNIQUE VISUALS, DRW literally doesn’t have anything unique about it’s visuals, its just an invisible copy of your character holding you’re weapon

  5. Okay…again i said i enjoy the game, which unfortunately means im forced to pay the sub if i want to play…please don’t comment unless you have something constructive to add to the conversation please

Do you?

Sounds like you hate more than just the visual.

Sounds like it does.

So is it the design of the ability or the visual of the ability?

Why are you asking why I am commenting?

What do?

Its a copy of your weapon… what other class or spec is able to do that? Sounds pretty unique to me.

Then stop playing the class that you hate.

Yes, if you want to play the game you have to pay for it. This isnt a free to play game.

I have, I told you to quit playing a class / game that you dont like since you cant come to grips to it. Dont want to give this company that you talk so low of your money, then stop opening your wallet. They dont owe you anything.

  1. Yes…I do, which is why I criticize it, without criticism, things don’t improve
  2. I literally said in a prior comment if it did literally anything else visually, i wouldn’t have an issue with it
  3. How’s a weapon that floats behind you, impaling the enemy on autos grandiose? (literally suggested how i would change it in a prior post you likely didn’t read)
  4. Stop using word play please, you know exactly what i meant, you’re just acting dumb
  5. Because I’m making a discussion on an ability i would like changed (even if just visually) you coming into complain about me making the post brings absolutely nothing constructive to the table
  6. Incinerate is a flame that travels across the ground, which has an easily expandable visual for its aoe talent, and rain of fire does exactly what it says it does…both of which literally have optional recolours to boot
  7. The idea is unique yes, but it’s executed in the sheer laziest way possible, the fact i can literally make an exact replica of the ability in it’s current state, in a game engine within 90 seconds, is exactly why I’m saying it’s lazy
  8. Never once did i say i hate the class either…i hate this one ability…
  9. Exactly, and when I’m paying for a product to use it, its only natural that i will call out laziness
  10. this isn’t helpful nor constructive, I never once talked low of blizzard, I’m criticizing a part of the game I feel has a near infinite amount of room from improvements, its how products improve…feedback…and you’re attention seeking, nothing more, please don’t comment again unless you have something constructive to bring to the table

We did. This shows how much they lsitened.
