Why do I get 30m deserter for being kicked from a dungeon group when no one says a single word and I’ve done nothing worthy of being kicked aside from sharing gear with someone in a premade group. This system is actually the worst garbage I’ve ever experienced in my entire life.
Kicking people because they can roll for items you want is diabolical and the fact I can’t do dungeons for 30 minutes after the fact is really annoying.
Deserter: It takes 3 people to kick someone and give them a 30 minute timer
No deserter: It only takes 1 person to hold a group they don’t like hostage until they get kicked so they don’t receive a debuff
I kick people all the time.
A group can kick someone for whatever reason they want, and 3 other people have to vote yes for that to happen.
So, you rolled on a piece of gear that wasn’t meant for you, and then you gave it to someone that lost the roll. I can see why you got kicked.
I didn’t roll on anything. They wanted gear that I could also use from another boss so they kicked me from the group so I couldn’t roll against them. Nice try tho?

This system is horribly flawed in that I’m being penalized for doing absolutely nothing. I’ve got people grasping at straws to claim that I’ve done something worthy of being kicked for as well as people saying it’s okay because 3 people (all from the same guild) vote. Yea man that’s totally cool and fair.
I existed, use the same type of gear as someone who queues up with their homies, and just can’t play the game for 30 minutes because they don’t want to roll against me if something we both can use drops.
I just voted to kick everyone in my dungeon group after reading this thread.

Please enlighten me as to what I could have possibly done wrong. I enter dungeon, follow the group through trash to the first boss. No one has died, no one has pulled besides the tank. Tank pulls the boss, we kill the boss again nothing unusual. Walking to the next pull and I’m removed from the group. Not a single message has been typed, nothing has gone wrong, no one has died, no one besides the tank has pulled. Actually the top damage by a significant margin as well so you can rule out performance.
Please be my guest since you would rather just paint me as the person in the wrong.
Maybe give everyone a satchel if they finish the dungeon with all 5 original players? You can kick someone but you all lose the chance for some extra loot.
It is a shame if you have to coerce people to be decent human beings though.
Would just appreciate my time not being wasted because someone is taking advantage of a system that was put in place to prevent people from taking advantage of a system.
Instead I try to make my case on forums and am combated by people who probably just do the same garbage and are completely fine with justifying it by assuming I’ve done something wrong.
Ppl say that Retail is more toxic, but then I come here and read about these scenarios.
