As an Oceanic player, I assure you that not everyone wants this.
If you want it, you have the choice to re-roll or transfer to a US server. If you merge US-Oce, you deprive players like me of that choice.

I am assuming you don’t PvP. There are next to no games 
I’m not making this thread cos I like higher MS. I don’t. But our population isn’t big enough to support a thriving PvP community. And that’s just facts.
Unfortunately, those are the facts. My preference is to have fewer instances of PvP that are higher quality than lots of mediocre (and frustratingly inconsistent) games.
If people disagree then I respect that. But again, you have the choice to re-roll or transfer if that’s how you feel. Likewise, I have the choice to stay where I am and have less PvP oppprtunities. Merging US-Oce removes that choice from players like me by forcing your opinion on us.

This prick commenting on a 65… PvP will die next phase if it isn’t merged. Being able to farm honor once a month during AV weekend is horrible. Tuesday having to play games on 4 characters because outside of that it’s dead is even worse. People are already raid logging to the max because there is nothing else to do…
What do you mean? The quality of the players will be arguably higher cos there’s more players. There’ll be more opportunity to learn. More people on your level, etc. So I don’t think this is a reasonable statement. There’s no truth to it.

Playing with more people doesn’t mean much to me when my ping spikes and I die an avoidable death due to my poor connection. Again, just my preference. I’d rather wait until peak times and enjoy 1 or 2 good games with a stable, fast connection.

Hrm? I assume you’re inferring that because I don’t play as much as you, that somehow invalidates my opinion.
I ask again: if you want to play on US servers that badly, why don’t you transfer to one? Why do you insist on forcing your preferences on other people?

The problem is, no one actually queues for arena. Those who do, want a bigger pool so that they can play games at an acceptable rate.
15 years of experience has shown, players want to stick with their own community. The higher rated you are, the worse this experience can be.
It is possible to have oce work within itself on lower ratings and for it to widen the search criteria at higher ranks. At the very least, it is worth problem solving.
OCE players do transfer to US to play at a more competitive level. It would be nice if our higher rated players wouldn’t feel the need to have to leave.
