Can we maybe stop forcing pvp with weeklies?

There are two places to get weeklies, the pvp area and the pve area. How about pve weeklies stay in the pve area and arena skirmish and pet battle pvp weeklies go to the pvp area?

Because one of the “PVE weeklies” is actually tied to whichever weekly event is occuring. This week the event is Arena skirmishes, and next week it’ll probably go back to being some PVE event.

This has nothing to do with the PVP area’s weekly quests.

So, not a chance you can just ignore it?

How are you being “forced” to do PvP weeklies?

We’ve had each week being dedicated to something for years now, and occasionally that something is PvP, either do it or ignore it.

Nobody is being forced, though.

Potentially losing out on Ten bronze tokens (even though with the recent buffs its so easy to amass them).

Just run LFR BRD and get another 30+ tokens.

Yeah. 10 Bronze isn’t enough to make me want to do a PvP weekly. I’ll continue to ignore it as I have always done.

It was exactly the same way in DF, PvP weekly was in the same place the PvE was, I ignored it there also.

That’s what I’m doing. I should be done with Tier Sets by the end of this week. Then I’ll just start collecting anything else that I’m interested in.

Right after they stop forcing pve.

It really should be 5 wins instead of 10. I queued for an hour with my PvP toon (full conquest gear) and won 1 match out of probably 10.

Sure maybe a skill issue. Didn’t help that almost everyone I got matched with had Pve gear on effectively making them melt instantly.

you’d have a point if this was before they buffed bronze tokens
now it doesn’t matter much. you’d have to pay ME to do arena skirmishes, those are the worst form of PVP imaginable

cool, so where are the 7 tokens per quest I earned last week when it wasnt forced pvp week?

Are you though? There are a lot of token sources now and at 100 you can spam dungeons… while i dont think you can hit 100 in a single week you can come very close to it

They just need to change it to “play X amount of arena matches” without having to win. So you can just queue up, try PvP and regardless of win or lose you get credit.

Right now there is 10 bronze coins that I can’t get. In Koraks revenge at least you can just follow the group and you get the honor needed.

Isn’t any PVE non instanced content PvP with armored ON. How about that a PVP player can easily queue up for raids and dungeons if needed while PVE player can’t without gear.

What buffs were added for getting bronze? I missed that news and couldn’t find it when I searched around.

Then why doesn’t one of the weeklies become win 25 pet battles on pet battle week?

Then players would afk or run out to die with no attempt to fight back just to get 10 participations. And you can get it eventually it’s just not worth the effort if you don’t pvp. I’m sure every single person sees some different quest as something they don’t want to do and you just don’t do it.

The Arena Skirmish week is a problem because nobody likes skirms, not even PVPers. It definitely does not need to have its own week, it should be paired with a timewalking week or something like the pet battle weekly is.

True but it’s not rated or anything. It’s just skirmish. And they could just add some extra stuff on win.

Same way people were forced to do pvp if they wanted the legendary capes in pandaria when they stuck those moronic requirements to win specific BGs on it. pvp and pve should always remain as separated as possible as they’re 2 completely different game modes. just as that bg requirement had no business existing, trying to pigeonhole people into doing pvp by making those the only quests for the week is just wrong.

If they gave you a choice of “you can do this pve thing OR this pvp thing” it would be different. The fact that they’re not but are trying to pigeonhole is the problem.

If they’re the only such quests available then yes they absolutely are if they want to progress. If it’s not a choice of “you can do this pve thing OR this pvp thing” then yeah that’s trying to force it. This could be solved easily by sticking a couple pvp quests and a couple pve quests on it then letting people pick which ones they want for the week. Otherwise if your only choice is to pvp or miss out, that’s trying to force it.

You’re playing a pve primary game that has pvp tacked on. You also have multiple options to level and obtain rewards through pvp. your argument is invalid.
