My Son is gay, I myself am an older gamer Dad and my Son loves uses the forums but he always shows me all of these LGBTQ+ threads which are fine but some are obviously made to troll.
Would it be possible to maybe get a separate LGBTQ+ section so all related posts can go there, that way they can build their own community and grow in numbers while avoiding all the hate and stuff they get from posting in GD.
I think this would be in everyone’s best interest, no?
Not a horrible idea. I am sure people will argue for and against it.
My only issue is the people will just go there and troll instead of here, but at least it would be more organized trolling 
Trolls would still post on GD since most biters won’t go there. Just like they do now asking for lore / story changes and additions on GD instead of the Lore > Story section.
Just one more thing proving that they are intentionally trolling and not genuinely interested in their topic.
You got same people on here just keep spamming the same topic over and over just to forces blizzard to give them what they want while rest of the community doesn’t want it.
This sounds like segregation with extra steps
as soon as we get a mature adult themed forum section.
Why not just ban the trolls? Easier than creating a sub forum where trolls will go to linger anyway.

yep. they’ll post here and say “but those forums aren’t as active, i wanted my post to be more visible so i post in GD!”
and then blizz will just move or delete the threads, not punishing the trolls, so they can keep on making more as much as they want. in other words, exactly how things are now

they’re probably posting as that one blood elf DH that keeps making obnoxious threads about their fake child, using the “xhe” pronouns and also has a name that starts with T
but i guess since blizzard made the forums bass-ackwards, we’ll never know if they’re the same people or not
You would think that, but in reality it never stops. The mods think it’s totally appropriate to boot!
I thinks it’s more fear than anything right now lol. Blizz/Acti aren’t out of their hot water bath just yet

The EQ forums don’t allow this sort of thing, but they support gay rights at the same time. They even offer pride items in the shop, but they agree with me that it isn’t relevant to gaming discussion.
There already is a dedicated thread ,not sure what you mean by “section”. I’m also sure there are 100s of gaming/WoW forums for all of those you mentioned, outside of the official WoW forums.
