And to those of you thinking garrisons were housing, you need to understand housing means customization, choosing which cookie cutter thing you put where isn’t customization, it is limited choice. This is not what those of us requesting housing are looking for. We are looking for personal, unique customization. You want to see amazing player housing options, google “star chart dojo winners” and see some truly amazing player created spaces. There are so many things Blizzard/Microsoft could do, here’s to hoping they do something better…
with eso you can buy furniture and place it anywhere in the player home to make it ur own place
they had instance you need to buy with crowns the store currency but you can build anything in there
They tried that with garrisons and it killed the world there was 0 reason to leave your garrison at all. They either have to remove LFG or housing won’t will as no one would ever be in the world
The housing would be completely cosmetic. The garrison was the main focus of everything we had to do in that expansion was based out of the garrison so we had to stay in our garrisons …
that isn’t the kind of housing that is wanted.
I think it would be awesome if you could set your own stuff up. Found a nice cave behind Dornugal and I was like, “Man I wish I could set up a hearth point in here maybe throw down a crafting table and a nice big stove.” wouldn’t even care if other people used it just a nice quiet out of the way place to chill lol
The game is also considered RP friendly.
I do everything in the game except pet battle.
And Arenas so it isn’t just wanting to RP.
I pvp and I pve as well.
I love Mythic plus.
But I’d also like housing and I don’t expect anyone who isn’t an RP or RPish kinda player to understand or get why so many of us DO want housing.
And if it died so long ago why are there so many other games that offer housing🤷🏻♀️
I want to play in wow not the other games I like neither of the games you named.
I like wow play style and the options of play it offers so I want housing in wow. That is all.
Well the good news is we’re getting player housing at some point before WoW shuts down, the bad news is it’s considered such a monumental undertaking for the level of customization being asked for that the engine would need to be modified substantially and it’d be an expansion feature possibly even one worked on as the main feature…across like two or more expansions.
It would give the RPers something to do since RP died awhile ago.
