Worked with the Legion before Suramar was liberated, so it makes some sense that a few of them would retain knowledge of demonic arts. Also, they needed a counterpart to night elves having druids.
Have no qualms with using darker forms of magic, be it using it offensively or powering their homeland with it.
We saw them letting bloodtotem back in after we defeated the legion (those are the red tattoo options). Highmountain warlocks should have been added tbh. As the bloodtotem were the tribe to dabble in those magics. Even having demonhunter references lol.
If anyone is ignoring anything, it would be you. Illidan tried creating orc demon hunters. They died, he would never try teaching the Draenei. Because the entire reason he was creating Illidan is because of Draenei who began messing with the fel. Draenei that start using the fel, turn red, stop being Draenei, and go back to being Eredar.
Priests =/= Paladins, it’s time people stopped trying compare these two classes.
Kul Tiran priests can use the light for the same reason void elves and forsaken. They as a culture don’t have the same level of faith in the light as those from Stormwind.
Uncorrupted Bloodtotem. The ones that didn’t drink the felblood.
I’m sick of this argument. The Feltotem were absolute evil, they saw the player and the other tribes as weak and would’ve destroyed Highmountain or conquered it for the Legion if they weren’t stopped. There was no chance of them ever reconciling with the other tribes after all they did in Highmountain and on the Broken Shore, and they’re now all either dead or in hiding, hence HMTs have Bloodtotem and no warlocks.
Not sure what changes had happened after Legion but if I remember correctly it was explained in Q&A that the Void Elves delved into Void magic to use as a alternative means but it was forbidden and why they were outcasted.
Those races could actually be reasoned with. Can’t picture any Feltotem that would’ve wanted to sit down and ask to make amends.
I’m done trying to defend this crap.
You are sick of the arguement but like it’s the same reason we got felborne nightborne… nightborne did warlock stuff. And blood elves, a people who used burning legion magic to sate there nutrional needs. The highmountain had warlocks as bloodtotem.
…what is your rationale for believing the Feltotem wouldn’t have people who wanted to rejoin Highmountain when the Legion lost?
Cause that’s nowhere near any less believable than the Dark Irons deciding to join the Alliance after Ragnaros fell, or the Zandalari joining the Horde after being mortal enemies with both factions, etc.
It also wouldn’t be hard to believe if some of them decided to join to sabotage the legion from within, and want to join back. Or feel as if they were forced to join. Also would be nice for those warlocks to use there soulstones like that goblin warlock quest in the orc starting zone, we had to destroy the locks soulstones to kill them permanently, something we don’t do with the feltotem.
I’ll preface this by saying I personally don’t feel its so ironclad that some feltotem couldn’t have made peace after the others fell.
But the Dark Irons made sense since Moira their leader, was making friends with Varian and helping the Alliance stop a potential assault on Iron Forge when neither of the other Dwarven groups would in Mists scenarios (https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Blood_in_the_Snow)
Zandalari is harder, but I believe according to things I’d read the Zandalari encountered outside of Zandalar were all of the “Zul faction”, or otherwise not of the mainland faction that joined the Horde
Zul/Azshara/Mogu had alliances that stem from old god stuff. Azshara and Slyvanas had a pact, Azshara warns us about the Jailer/ or tells Slyvanas that Azshara knows about the Jailer and that nothing good will come of it. The Zandalari we fought in previous expansions were more of Zul’s forces who we killed.
It is hard to know this unless you do the horde questing in BFA, the alliance questing thinks they are killing all Zandalari as if they were all united, nope they were killing Zul’s forces. Which I thought was funny while doing the alliance campaign.
Tauren or Highmountain Demon Hunter is top of my list. I want to try the DH class but there is no way I am playing a Blood Elf. An entire class being locked behind one lone race on each side can’t be good for the health of the class. For ally side I would say Draenei should get it as well.
Opening Rogue, Mage, Warlocks for either Tauren or Highmountain would be welcome. Druid for Vulpera would be fun.
