Can we get some new *established* class/race combos in 9.1.5/9.2?

Ah yes, one of the combos I specifically state aren’t necessary is the entire reason this thread exists.

It would definitely be nice if there was more then just a single option for DH on either side.

I have a 60 DH but they just sit by the wayside and don’t get played because I would rather be playing any non-elf race.

Same as it would be nice for my druid options for those that would like more races to choose from.

You are ignoring a grat amount of story in that quest, why would blizz make a reference, not reference, but to say that there where high elves trained by uther the lightbringer?

Not to forget that high elfs had their priest back in wc3 and they were called priests

Yes because in WC3 there was only high elves, since it was the events of Warcraft 3 that led the survivors to calling their race Blood Elves, in memory of those killed by Arthas in his attack to get to the Sunwell. As Blizzard said before, Blood Elves are High Elves, people just want one specific faction of High Elves (Silver Covenant) that didn’t go along with the rest (Blood Elves)

You’re right. Put blood totem in a dirty miserable camp for the rest of their lives. That’s the moral thing to do the peaceful good highmountain would do.

The bloodtotem are represented with the red tattoos. That is their tribe. The green is for the sky tribe, and the blue is for the river tribe.

People are once again missing the point about what makes a Paladin a paladin. They are not just “holy warriors” that can get their power from any “holy divine” source. They are specifically bound to a single divinity - the Light - no matter what their race is.

Void Elves are bound to the Void. The Void is what naruu - creatures of Light - descend into when they are dying. The Void is in complete opposition to the Light - a being bound to one cannot access the powers of the other. Like Lightforged Draenai, Void Elves undergo a physical and spiritual transformation that renders them incapable of accessing any other source of magical energy.

Your statement that “Void and Holy are capable of existing in harmony” is likely a reference to Discipline Priests, who can indeed draw their power from two sources - one Holy, one Shadow. However your statement is inaccurate because you’ve made the assumption that “Void” / “Light” are the same as “Holy” / “Shadow”. They are not. There are many sources of Holy and Shadow energies - the Light and the Void are just two of them.

Considering the announcement for opening up race/class combinations, I think it is time to necro this thread.
