Try acting as if rez sickness offends your sensibilities, get a few people to rally behind that, and you’ll see it gone in two weeks.

If you are doing old quests that require you to hurt the enemy but not kill them, rez sickness is a must.

WOW is old school with death. Res Sickness is mild though. Back in the early 2000s, they thought about implementing other punishments for death like dropping all your gear and gold for others to pick up. Another idea was losing experience on death. So if you died enough, you could actually go backwards in level.
