Heck, just yesterday I follow Bi-con Flynn Fairwind from SI:7 to the trading post and watched him get a pet for his boyfriend Shaw! So cute.

I kinda wish I could get into FFXIV.
I played on ARR launch to cap and got kinda turned off by launch issues and community toxicity. I know things have been improved a lot since then, but my attempts to get into it since left me really bored for some reason.

Growing to know the cast, and eventually love the cast is what the gameās big draw is for me.

I know it sounds dumb but I had an extremely hard time getting into FFXIV at first, because of the race selection. Playing horde for so long spoiled me for when I went over there and all of their races wereā¦ yeah.
Hrothgar are kinda like the bare minimum but they werenāt even out yet at the time, so I ended up running around as a Roegadyn dude with blushing cheeks, white lips, and a bouncy red pompadour because it was the only way I could care about the character customization at all.

One of the reasons why I have a difficult time getting interested in that game is the bland races. Though Final Fantasy as a franchise usually doesnāt have interesting playable characters that arenāt human.

Iām thinking of subbing soonā¦ After Iām done with ESO.
All my friends stop playing WoW and as I was playing my Vampire theme Affliction Warlock blowing stuff up in Purple flames, I suddenly had the urge to actually play a real Class Necromancer turn Vampire with powers racials and all!
Since I have like 2 expansions and 1 new one coming in March I thought I start caching up in the story.
The new class looks really cool and has all that Lovecraftian vibeā¦ I think Ill make an Wereworlf Orc Arcanistā¦ with all that cool Eltrich Runic and floting book FX with tentacles and eyes! It will be my ESO version of Guldan! 
PS: Yes Iām still sub, to WoW but the story has been a bit slow coming out and there is only so much I can grind and level on my own before I start getting burn out. Iām keeping my eye out for when more story pop out and the grind is not so hard to unlock the story quest to start playing again!

tho tbh i donāt find eso too fun anymore. most of my friends quit, and eso is a super friend game for me.

True the harder content, the Trials, you need a active guild or friends to do itā¦ even if you go on a full META build.
When Iām done with story I might try to jump to a active guild that run the Trials and Elite Dungeons groups.
Never play with friends in ESO, it must be much more fun for sure!
Iām attempting to play with my Brother but he says the Characters are too ugly! Still he said he will give it a go after his sub in FF14 is overā¦ his playing WoW and FF14 depending on his mood! (Specially now that our friends stop playing) lol 
Iām huge into character building.
FFXIV does not do character building generally outside of picking secondary job skills.
I think thatās why even less polished MMOs like Wildstar and RIFT held my attention far longer.
Yeah I got as far as looking at the race options on their website. Sure itās a good game but boy howdy, have I never been less interested.
Iām not hard to please just give me a spookster and weāre good to go. Iām a little more open with scifi settings as yeah astronaut draculas are kinda weird. But if thereās swords involved in this I want something that wouldnāt look out of place confronting Albert and Castello. I donāt think thatās asking for much.
