I get wanting to escape real life but that’s hard to do 100% in a game like WoW which takes so much from real life. Especially all the pop culture references.
How is it forced if the people working for Blizz want it in the game?

A lot of us in the LGBT community don’t want this stuff in the game. It’s like pushing our choices on other people. I don’t like it.
But I fear our voices are drowned out by the vocal part of the community.

And a lot of us in the LGBT community see the benefit of having things like this in game. Especially for those in much tougher situations because it can benefit them. I personally enjoy seeing those characters in game because it makes me happy.

For real this, growing up I knew I was gay but I couldn’t be out because of my situation. Watching the very few bits of LGBT representation in TV that wasn’t a complete mockery of it was the only thing that gave me hope at times. It didn’t exist in gaming at all when I was younger.

Its always sad hearing creators say they wanted to include lgbt stuff but weren’t allowed
The show Gargoyles for example. Lexington was supposed to be gay and he becomes mates with one of the UK Gargoyles
