Now, that’s not saying it’s canon and they’re in love, but to say that Thassarian and Koltira don’t have strong feelings for one another in some way is just not right.
Thassarian also has extreme remorse after killing his mother (while under Arthas’ command) which he wouldn’t have felt if he didn’t love her.
Death Knights feeling positive emotions is rare, and usually fleeting, but nothing’s impossible. Death Knights may be emotionally crippled but they’ve not had their humanity (or whatever the equivalence is for other races) totally eliminated… Most of the time.
. . . I want the anduin wrathion ship, along with EVERY other forced ship in every other franchise be it gay, straight, or lesbian, to sink into the briny depths of the great fandom sea.

we already have a few LGBT examples in game, some handfuls of male to female relationships, and at least two instances of interspecies romantic relationships possibly more… do we really need more “romance” in the game? the Kul’tiran Carlyle and love triangle you follow down a Tiragrade back alley side quests and that one romeo and juliet MoP one were cute little world building details, but that’s about as far as we should really go into the “romantic” lives of game central characters… The whole point of fantasy, especially high fantasy (which WoW is) is to be something not like real life, if everybody wants their real life but online so badly why aren’t they on SIMS or Second Life?
Isn’t their entire story about being friends despite everything working against that?

Honestly I’m really happy about Fairwinds and Shaw.
When it comes to media representation, mtf trans individuals and gay couples are pretty under represented. I hate to throw them under the bus, but lesbians tend to be the “easy” LGBT representation because of how often they’re fetishized by straight dudes.
Mind you, that’s not to say they’re not valid, but it’s definitely way more common in games than most male gay couples.
