You do realize a majority of people who transferred to wrath just did so to tranfer their gold?
The reason OP is asking for a fresh is because he wants to play the game through with a large group of people.
Historically, servers die around naxx patch. Era servers have been in naxx patch for over 3 years.

I mean, I was quoting the guy who said “SoM players wanted to go to TBC” which makes no sense, because anyone who played SoM literally chose to play SoM instead of TBC. They went on at the same time…
But IMO they were always going to allow WotLK transfers. Just didn’t announce it at launch because they didn’t want to fill SoM with tourists who are only there for certain rank titles or a shot at a bug mount that they could bring into WotLK.
No they don’t. If that’s what they wanted to do they could all get together and form a guild and progress through the game on an existing server.

There is no AQ gates event. The competition is already full t3 bis. The economy is already 3 years into progression.
I checked the AH of serveral servers to prove my point. FAPS are going for 15 A PIECE on many servers. On Everlook atm, they are 30s a piece.

Even the majority of era players know why people want fresh, and as a matter of fact many era players WILL go to fresh - the exception being players who can’t let go of their purples.
Classic (60) WoW being less than really popular is not my opinion. Its an observation of the reality we both exist in but you remain obtusely ignorant of.
Fresh start is a very popular activity for many RPG games
Everquest does it constantly.
So does OSRS.
So does WoW.
Are you claiming that, ALL of the players who participate in fresh across many different game IDs, are all wrong? All because some random person on an era server says so?

You’re asking Blizzard to invest in a commodity that has crippling diminishing returns and a guaranteed expiration date for no real reason other than you can only enjoy the game under one very specific set of circumstances.

So let me explain to you how it works. There’s 2 million players on Era servers. A majority of those 2 million players ask Blizzard for a round of fresh servers that will eventually somehow be merged with existing servers. Blizzard will most likely comply.
Instead, you come at them from a completely bankrupt position and promise them 2 million subs if they listen to you and they should listen to you because you know its good and the reason you know its good is because you personally enjoy it - all while not letting it be known that in 10 months or less we’re all back to square one because you got bored and jumped ship again.
Yeah, its a wonder why there arent a dozen fresh servers announced for next month.

Fresh is coming, and you are just going to have to cry about it like you have done for the last year. You are not going to stop it. Fresh will continue to be a thing across many RPG games, including wow.
Here’s the thing, none of us have a problem with you playing era, but you have a HUGE problem with people wanting fresh.

I do not like fresh restarts. Keep that out of classic era and classic.
The focus should be on classic era and horizontal content vs new servers that just die hard.
That’s why I think era is a great thing for people who don’t want to restart, and why I think “som” is good for people who do.
There really shouldn’t be any animosity towards either, but for some reason there is.
