Considering the old forums had zero automation at all, the functionality we do here here is certainly more “automated” than that.
Contrary to the theory, there are aren’t really any permanent actions that happen without moderation intervention. Some threads or posts may be hidden, based on reports made by the community, but it doesn’t delete the post or action the player.
What the current functionality of these forums do help with, is for our moderators to process the thousands of reports they receive.
If you wish to provide feedback, Etch, you are welcome to do so in the appropriate forum, such as General discussion or better yet, the Support Site Feedback forum. Maybe without insulting other posters or our staff. Maybe simple focus on what you feel you dislike about the forum features and how’d you like to see them work differently.
Remember that old adage? I believe the great philosopher Thumper, of the meadow Thumpers, said, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say nothing at all.” Let’s hold those immortal words up and aspire to live by them so that we can all retain our posting privileges.
