You have to go into your account preferences page, navigate to users. There you can put Aeondaboil-bonechewer (assuming that’s who you were referring to) in the text box, and set your desired timeout.
Yep. If you don’t like a thread, it’s been proven to be far more effective than it should be to try and get the thread shut down.
i would like to tell you how thankful i am that you shared your opinion, but i have to kindly disagree with that opinion.
the main issue is that implementing an account wide ignore system will create invasion of privacy issues for the forum users. by implementing an account wide ignore system, the forum users will be able to find out the alts of anyone whom they ignore, which is just not healthy for the forum community as a whole.
so, for that reason, i cannot support an account wide ignore.
I mean, the obvious and totally rational solution is to just get discourse to undo the complete garbage hackjob they did to the wow forums and revert it back to a single forum id like every other forum in existence.
I have browsed the other Blizz forums on Overwatch and Diablo 4 and haven’t seen a single instance of anything naysayers to this idea bring up. Also if a profile is set private you can’t put that character on ignore and I don’t think that’s ok
If we do end up getting account wide ignore there’s a list of users I want to ignore and have no contact with. There’s at least five and maybe a sixth.
welcome.
Ive had to add a lot like that.
I believe this account is private as well.
Im not even sure what the advantages are…I just noticed some others were set like that so I did it too
